It's not on a good night for me, but I've managed to see a couple episodes and it's pretty good. Intriguing. Anyone watching this?

Good cast. Sam Neill!!! And Jorge Garcia (Hurley on Lost). And a couple of pretty faces that aren't too memorable yet. :P

I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Sam Neil's always a pleasure to watch, and the show's got an interesting hook.

It will start playing here soon. I saw an advert for it last night- first time I'd ever heard of it. Looks intriguing.

Anybody remember "The 4400"? It's kind of like they knew it was a good idea but that show became too much like "Heroes" but couldn't compete, so it only went 2 1/2 seasons, I think. But it started out really well and had some good characters... maybe they said, Let's try it again only it's all prison inmates. But if they start developing super powers, I'm outta there. :)

EDIT: Interestingly enough, they've begun recycling actors from The 4400 to this show. Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, who was one of my favorite characters on from 4400, showed up as a one-off character... kind of a sad episode.

We've watched a lot of episodes now. Still waiting for it to become good or at least not totally predictable.

Don't hold your breath. FOX canceled Alcatraz on Friday 5/11/12.

I watched the first couple of seasons of the 4400. I think Hero's came out after but picked up a large following and the 4400 fizzled.
