Ugh.....Doom Patrol 7-15 were all drawn by Erik Larson; I barely survived reading them. 1-6 were drawn by Steve Lightle, which was why I bought them back in '87, and 16-18 are done by Graham Nolan, who's also really good. I've never liked Larson's style, and these look even worse than his Spider-man run, which was so bad I stopped reading Spidey until the reboot in '97.

Fantastic Four : the Resurrection of Nicholas Scratch

Collects Marvel Knights 4 #25-30.

I really enjoyed this collection. missed it the first time around. it features the return of the Salem's Seven, a group I loved as a kid. also has Dr.Strange and Diablo.

(that pic is not from this collection)

thought the art was good, and the writing as well. couldn't beat the price.

they have more of the Byrne FF collectives, but at a higher price.

Can't help but wonder if I have any old stuff that you two guys might have been after for a while now. What's on your wish lists? Not the expensive stuff, mind you.

I want to collect the entire run of DC Comics Presents.

www.coverbrowser.com/covers/dc-comics-presents

I love DC and would love to get some of the stuff I read as a kid. Freedom Fighters, Secret Society of Supervillains, Justice League.

sometimes, a Dan can tell you - you get lucky and find a bunch in the dollar bin.

Hmmm... That's a good choice. I'm not overly attached to a large percentage of those. I don't have all of them, but I have many. I'll go to my father's, where my comics are stored, and see what I can part with.

Null, I have an extra copy of DP 98, plus a few extras of the Morrison DP I can send you once I get them all sorted out.

Fist, I'm not sure what qualifies as 'not expensive' to you, but here's some I'm missing that probably fit the bill:

Captain America 153, 161, 163, 181, 194-195

Champions 6

Conan 41-42, 53-54, 56, 69-70, 72, 74, 81-82, 84-88, 90, 95

Defenders 1-4 (heh, NOT cheap) 7-11, 19, 27, 47

John Carter, Warlord Of Mars 2-7, 9-16, 19, 22-23

Jungle Action 5, 9-11, 14, 16-21, 24

Luke Cage, Hero for Hire 3-5, 7, 9, 13-14, 16, 21-22, 33, 43

Marvel Premiere 27-32, 34, 38-whatever the last issue was

Marvel Team-Up 9-19, 22-23, 25-32, 36-38

Marvel Two-In-One 2, 4-6, 8, 10, 17, 21-27, 29

Master Of Kung-Fu 53-58, 63-64, 72-75, 77, 87, 90, 101-103, 106, 108-109

Ms. Marvel 9, 11-12, 15-16 (might not be cheap ones), 18, 21-24

Thor

I'm assuming you don't have all of that, and I'm also assuming you won't part with your Perez JLA. But if you do have some of those that you're not particularly attached to, I'll gladly take them off your hands.

And like Null, I'd be happy to compensate you.

I honestly hope to remember to check them out this weekend.

And MoKF is sacred, so don't even suggest that again.

Won't part with my jungle Actions, either. The rest have a chance.

thanks Dan. :)

the most expensive things I am looking for are likely the early 70's Freedom Fighters, Secret Society of Supervillains and Invaders. too many guys trying to relive their childhoods. :)

oh and the Ditko stuff - I'm just hoping to find collections of that stuff.

went to Hastings today to pick up...

Before the Watchmen : Minutemen - 1

I liked it a lot. not sure I will be getting any of the others, but being a huge fan of the golden age, I found it to be well down. and Cooke's art is fantastic.

*sigh* Sorry, dAN, but I'm not gonna be any help to you. All my issues of MTU and M2IO are later than what you're after. The only ones in the numbers you want are issues I specifically bought. (I'm an Iron Fist freak, for instance.) I'm sure I have some of the Marvel Premiere that you want that I'd be willing to part with, but it'll require a more thorough search. Cap 153? I think so. Possibly also 161 and 163. Gotta go take a second look through. I'll keep you posted.

Null, so far, I found DC Presents: 50, 51, 54, 56, 58, 74, 77, 78. I know I have more. I'll keep you posted, too.

Yeah, my collection became rather odd toward the end of my collecting. I would put issues of these types of titles in with the character who was guest-starring. And if, say, Elektra showed up anywhere, I'd put that issue in with my Elektras. It wasn't a problem back years ago, because I had them all with me, and knew what was in each box. "Hawkman? Third row, second box from the right." Not so easy now, so I gotta go looking.

thanks Fist.

I only usually collect guest appearances if they are important to the central story. and Suicide Squad. if you don't limit, after awhile it gets messy.
