A Chrons character with a computer game character generator

Post by Lefdmae Deemalr Effaeldm »

Quite simple - make a Chrons character with a computer game character generator. Like in Oblivion, Sims, a few of the free online ones like APB, just a separate generator to imitate that character creation, whatever else you may have and like. Please, don't take ready-made faces if possible, instead try to make them as close to how they may look in your imagination. Photoshop / GIMP afterwards possible, if you think it will do good and is not too much of a problem.

Thanks to Zorm / Frostheart for giving me the task to post my impression of the First of the Search, which inspired me to make this) So, I'll start with the First :) I think she should be beautiful, but somewhat strict, like described on her first appearance, and that her beauty is far not of the fragile kind)

Well, let the actual starter be Covenant himself. Visible leprosy not necessary.

Some tricks people do to get a bit of Chrons visualizations)) Maybe we should hook up some of the Mallory's threads and posts to the Gallery? Though it seems not much active recently - but maybe this could even help.

Edit: For this to get stuck less, if no posts come for long - about a week, the next poster may be anyone and post anyone

Edit2: By the way, keep in mind you may request the same character again (the recipient may improve on the old or try anew) - or we may get out of characters) And anyway, both variants and improvement may do good.
Also, if you have someone you'd like to post, you don't have to wait for a request for that, just post anyway, that has nothing to do with requests then.

That's pretty neat from a game character editor--obviously they wouldn't have stone mail in their collections, but it's good, proper armor nonetheless, not leaving all the soft bits bare. (Gotta love the logic of that Valkyrie in the other thread...helmet, grieves, rerebraces...and all vulnerable joints and heart and guts exposed. Perhaps their fighting tactic is indeed based on the element of seduction: they strike the fatal blow when the opponent hasn't recovered from their initial, mesmerized drooling yet.)

I see no problem linking these to the Gallery.... After all, they're self-created in a fashion, not ready images found on Google.

I actually picked this armor mostly because of the color and its general design, I thought to make a few shots of her in another armor, and now I'm quite sure - I wasn't sure, the colors and the form are far from what I imagined)

The thing is that the TES games are actually an exclusion to the normal metal armor rules, it has stone armor, in Oblivion it's ebony, and Skyrim even has moonstone and malachite :D

So, I tried the more proper armor and I actually like how it looks more :)

I like the new armor too; more detail and decoration, albeit that the previous feels closer to SRD's description ("corselet of stone mail", even though I'm not completely certain what a corselet is supposed to look like).

Alas, don't play any games myself, so not entirely familiar with the arsenals of game editors. Many of my friends were bouncing all over the place, though, when Skyrim was published. :D

This is from the character generator at Toolshell.com. A very simple Covenant. :)

8O Covenant may look cute?

Though... looked at some sites around that idea, there's at least one with ponies. That may turn out as quite some Chrons characters

Image

So, deer, do you have a request?

Edit: used this www.charactercreator.net/pony-creator.html

o_O That's something to ask from a game editor. Not exactly the typical game character age, clothing and general look.

Though actually managed not bad, or so it seems to me. The patches - not all made of them, but present, I think that's the important part)

Image Image Image Image Image

The last one is because I decided she had to get some more patches, added some manually)

My request - Lord Mhoram)

By the way, keep in mind you may request the same character again (the recipient may improve on the old or try anew) - or we may get out of characters) And anyway, both variants and improvement may do good.

Well done, Eff! I'm not very good on the generator thing, so I defer to someone better equipped. (And with a faster internet connection.)

Being not very good is no problem here) And there are generators you can use offline as well.

If you're really not sure about the quality of your results, I may post a few of my other pony Chrons characters attempts)

A slightly modified version of Lord Foul as a pony, the yellow color of the eyes is closer to orange than to green here, because sindatur says they looked greyish green to him. So, let there be two versions, for the eyes to be properly yellow.

And what about Lord Mhoram?

I do see those eyes as Orange on the same monitor that saw greyish-green. I've seen the yellow, and I actually prefer the greyish green, personally

I don't think Lord Mhoram will complain, he rarely comes around anymore

No wonder) I tried to choose a color that is yellow but almost green, and monitors do tend to have some err in them. Perhaps I can make a third variant with some middle ground between almost green and almost orange yellow.

As for Lord Mhoram - I mean the next character generation request, already mentioned above.

(I am interested!)

And I don't know who the Mahdoubt is, (Final Chrons, right?) but I am very intrigued from the pictures and want to meet this character!

Yes, her first appearance is near the end of the first book of the Final Chronicles

Where can one find these... free character generators?

(I'm assuming one has to download and load a whole game for some of them... but not all)

Easy-to use link?

There are many various variants, though all are limited in various ways. You may do any of the things posted above, and out of that only Oblivion requires having an actual game, others are online.

Something not exactly like the character should look) but having the feel, like a transformed version. The link to the pony generator I already posted, though there are numerous others, but this one looks like with most possibilities to me. www.charactercreator.net/pony-creator.html There are also some other generators on the same www.charactercreator.net site

Or something that concentrates on the general style more, like the various dress-up games, like the one deer used. There loads of them, but mostly at best very remotely suitable for this. www.mochigames.com/game/fantasy-heroes/ www.frenzoo.com/

Or specifically the face, like with these. flashface.ctapt.de/ momentplay.com/ru/game/Photo+robot
