Eric Sykes dies at 89 4 July 2012
Brilliant writer, actor, comedien. His sit-com, Sykes, with Hattie Jaques and Derek Guyler attracted stars such as Peter Sellers. He was even in HP and the Goblet of Fire, playing the caretaker of the Riddle house at the beginning of the film. Saw him once in pantomime at the Theatre Royal, Lincoln. He will be much missed.
