I liked Linden "ok-ish" in the Second Chronicles, but RotE turned me against her. But then she won me over in FR. But by the end of AATE, I was sick of her. Verdict: THOOLAH.

Yeah. I think we were split equal the last time we took a pole.
OPAL seems to have taken more THOOLAH members away than LA devotees.

I don't like being in this position, opposing a Donaldson created character but in his attempt to make a redeemable person out of a emotionally dysfunctional one he still manages to keep LA making ALL of her decisions for the most wrong reasons possible which keeps reminding me why she was so annoying in the second chrons. Can't there be a whole book where she's just...normal?

That would go a long way to making me consider OPAL at the very least.

OPAL? Seriously? After six books? After 30 years? You still can't decide?

Face palm aside, Capt. Picard, I'm OPAL, only because I find her mostly guilty, but, I'm waiting for the final verdict before I flip the switch. Crazy B***h may just pull all our asses outta the fire at the last minute with some crazy-azz stunt, but, until I see her deliberately doing Foul's bidding, I have to stay OPAL and not write her off 8O

We watched that Crazy Elena fail for a reason, IMHO, so that we would cheer when Linden made better final decisions <At least I hope so  >

Of course Linden will come through, or her kid will, justifying everything she's invested in him. And yes, I trust SRD to come through, too; I just wish he'd trust that we readers 'got it' already with the whole "Joshua (it is Joshua, right?) is my whole motivation" thing. It got annoying a while ago, like when Morn was singing the same tune midway through the Gap series.

If it's just Jeremiah, without some boost or sacrifice by Linden, I'll be disappointed. If Jeremiah saves the day, it's gotta be him picking up where his mom left off, IMHO, just like LA did after TC, or I'm gonna need convincing it's a natural progression of the story.

The Red car will probably have something to do with Jeremiah's resolution of his arc, IMHO

Oh, and yea, Morn has an excellent Arc, but, yea, she drools in a chasm for awhile that's very trying

See, at THOOLAH, we just expect such wasteful lethargy from her. And all you who say, Trust SRD he's a genius, he knows what he's doing,I remind you that no one is perfect, and he's spent a very long time on this series.

Well Yabutt first and 2nd Chronicles was the first decade, then, he wrote other angles/genres for another 2 decades expaning his range, before he felt he could do the Final Chronicles Justice, IMHO

That one I do know: In my humble opinion

Sorry Guys - you cannot redeem three books of concentrated navel-gazing even if she pulls of a rubber face mask to reveal Conan the Barbarian underneath. it aint happenin'!
