1. Non-sequiturs lie somewhere between destructive curiosity and teenage malaise. not a non-sequitur in any sense. on-spot and on-target.

2. the picture is semisemi pornographic, blurring the lines between good and bad taste and describing them back to us in bored fixtures of lighted humor. pornographic? it is simply two people under covers.

3. Not a man or beast can take a word that sgt. null says without feeling that he is rolling his eyes so hard, as to make them go back in time and infinitely live in an eye loop. I rarely roll my eyes, prefering cutting words to convey my (thread) drift.

Is this to be the humors of every KW poster now? An indifferent armchair historians view of abject kookiness coupled with the apathy of teenage dreamers finding their place within society? So easily one becomes offended by the trappings of concern.

I imagine any time now one of you will post

"you jelly?" And then the website will be flooded with nothing but internet memes.

And you sound anxious, did you seriously dislike my post? I just wanted to know if you've seen FBH to give an explanation if necessary. Anyway, fantasybedtimehour.com/episodes/EP40.php

Bottomfeeder, since Sarge was responding to my post, I feel the need to step in here. None of your criticisms of his post have any merit. It was appropriate, not at all porn if you understand what it was (which was a visual outtake from a TV show about SRD's first book, a show which was made by a group of people who were largely Watch members). The scene was one which related to my mention of ur-viles in my immediately prior post. Nicely done, Sarge!

I haven't been here all that long, nor posted that much...but as a member of the community, I have made some effort to absorb the culture, rather than imposing my own views here. I've seen a few of your posts and I think you might be better received by emulating that approach. Know whereof you speak before taking offense.

If anything, it was my post that edged toward inappropriate due to risque content, not Sarge's. He took what I did and turned it back toward something more Watch-like.

Bbf, I appreciate your concerns about the tone of the Watch. But that rather silly picture does not characterize 99% of the forum. "Love is not easily offended." (You know where it says that, don't you?)

Plus which, bbf, if you have a problem with Fantasy Bedtime Hour, you really ought to take it up with Cameraman Jenn, who was the videographer for the show.

I wanted to start fresh on here by saying that I am none other than the fantasy that you preclude.

I am the intelligent roofer on the night.

I have many faces and many friends

My name is babybottomfeeder

I am a weary dream feeder.

Please don't make fun of me or mock what I hold deer (sacred dear)

Sorry for the ruse but I had to make my point. I found it unethical for Effaeldm to pose as Lord Foul, it was explained as a joke. Fine it was a joke and I am left feeling foolish that I wrote personal messages to Effaeldm and not D***d W******s. Who cares I guess after all that happened.

One of you recently (in the last hour) tipped me off to the fact that the moderators are not keen on my actions and to them I say, I am sorry. I thought it would be ironic for me to take Effaeldm's name and show her how it felt to be toyed with but that wasn't my place I guess.

I have eyes and fantasy tendons among you.

I have friends of friends and maybe a few Alianthas to boot ;)

Goo goo ga ga

I like you guys a lot.

sgt. null, im sorry we clash heads alot, i think it's because we are creative

Where is ananda? I haven't heard a creak from her in ages?

I'm so overwhelmed with my work load that sometimes i forget you guys are real people around the world!

Where is the furthest poster away from me (Southern United States)? It would be interesting and wholesome to find out.

My alimony payments end in a year, thank God.

Icarus, thank you for the explanation.

And thanks to everyone for making this go a finer way.

I didn't intend either making fun of you or mocking, actually, it wasn't about you at all. Perhaps if you looked at the letters on my avatar attentively, or mentioned something about all my threads in the Gallery, that could explain a lot.

As for the message, I found only now a notification about it in the corresponding email, I can simply delete it. Had I mentioned it earlier, I'd have written you an explanation about me not being him.

I simply didn't touch anything to do with that account from than and till today, because I wanted to finish the first Ancillary Documentation dissection I more or less promised to write before doing anything else there.

I also thought it was pretty obvious that I wasn't him - name changed long ago, direct explanation in the Salute thread and even without those attempts of mine it's quite obvious that's a different account, and a different person. I intended to write on this more to make it easier to stumble upon on the return in that form, perhaps that's a punishment for taking so long to dissect a tiny chapter)

And thank you for taking this out of balon!'s thread, I hope the other messages can be moved out of there as well.

Don't worry, you may be sorry to mods alone, I don't really need a sorry from you on this, I was amused with the way you tried to make me feel bad, and that I admit with a bit of apprehension, it's easy to misunderstand as well - I merely find it amusing how you misjudged a way to hurt me even more by far than you misjudged my initial intents.

This question worries me as well, particularly strange since she's the current winner of the Bad Writing Game, and neither accepted the congratulations, nor assigned the next task. I haven't seen her for more than a week, I hope she's just occupied with something else.

That can quite likely be me, since I'm in Ukraine. Now that could be ironic.

Not everyone reads every post, especially when the poster is a quantity poster like you. This means that it is easy to miss your post when you are assuming someone else's identity. You and I have already spoken via pm regarding my attitude toward multiples. You know where I stand so no need t rehash it.

My main question, and you might have answered this in another post, but allowing for all your multiples, may I ask why you chose a name that someone else uses? Why not pick a new name not associated with another member? You may have a valid reason I am not aware of.

The original Lord Foul has declared he would not post again. Personally, I don't think it would be right to have a site created for TCTC and not allow someone to post as Lord Foul for any reason that comes to mind, and not because the person who originally took it decided to stop posting. Perhaps he agrees, and that's why he changed his name to LF; so that the name could be used again.

I absolutely don't expect from anyone to read all the posts, I don't do that myself either. I didn't write that in just simply any post exactly for that reason - it was in one of the new topics, and one that ended up in the Gen Disc, which is usually read most. In the case anyone interested in the situation could miss one of the most obvious places information could be in, or just wasn't looking into it that much, I intended to specifically address any questions on return with that identity, just didn't get the time.

The one right above yours) And Fist answered it in the one below)

And many others. I had actually several reasons, but that's all essentially about this Lord Foul kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22363

The clearest explanation, however, turned out more recently kevinswatch.ihugny.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=22536

Eff, I am guessing the furthest poster away from the Southern US is Shaun das Schaf, who I believe resides Down Under. Which is even farther away than I am in West Africa.

If the original Lord Foul wished to make the name available then I wish, Effy, you had honored his intentions and left it for some newbie; imagine their delight at finding one of the original names up for grabs. It would be like going to TheOneRing.Net and getting Sauron as your handle. :P

While you were clear that you were not the original Lord Foul, I still miss D***d and didn't find it amusing, to be honest. I dislike the alt thing because I have a hard enough time getting to know people via their internet personae. My personal reaction surprises me because I would have thought it would be something fun, but now I find it disheartening and alienating.

Sorry to be a buzzkill. Maybe it's just because I have a bad headache today. :(

If it'd been clear firstly that you had LF's permission, and secondly who it was that was doing it (though I think that's the less important one), then I don't think any of this would have been an issue. As it is, though, you deliberately withheld that information, so what people saw was an unknown person, obviously familiar with the original Lord Foul but not actually him, using the name to post a large number of scraping-the-barrel-style new topics. Declaring it a tribute still looks shady when you don't let on who you are or that you'd gotten permission.

Yeah, we have a few Australians and one or two New Zealanders. Though in real distance I'm not sure if that's not actually closer than Av in South Africa.
