I' aware of the many topics about the multiple identities, and this was discussed to a level it seems it could be heard on the distant Yuggoth, but I've already seen my words on this not mentioned to a drastic result, so a separate thread with an explanatory topic. I'll also copy this to anywhere needed. If anyone sees a way to make it clearer - feel free to suggest.

LF and I are verily different people.

LF was called Lord Foul earlier. Since the 17th of June, year 2012, it is my name.

And now, without further delay, I can tell you how it actually happened.

On the basically normal looking day of the 16th of June LF, Lord Foul then, wrote me a message. It's not like I wasn't going to take over the evil and Foul forces of the Watch before that. Because I was. And that was exactly the thing he wanted to talk about - he told me I could take his name. I was actually reluctant, especially to use it right away, took it after some thinking, wrote a message to lorin who I knew to be particularly apprehensive about such things, waited for a month for people to get used to LF's name change.

The rest you've seen mostly - I tried to simultaneously make a grand entrance and express my gratitude to LF with the unusual homage of starting multiple new threads, like he did - the salute. From the thread about that it was quite obvious I wasn't him.

I temporarily suspended activity because I said I could start the dissections of "Forbidden Knowledge" with the first Ancillary Documentation part. Intended to return gracefully with the dissection and then address any confusion that could be present anywhere. Didn't get a chance. And still stuck with the dissection and now largely uninspired to even touch it on top of all.

Didn't want to retell the parts of this that were from the private messages without LF's permission, and was reluctant even to ask for it. Did want to explain all this and get rid of some presumptions that floated around, so asked after all.

I rightly don't care if people are happy or unhappy with me, no longer being a vested entity on the Watch. That said; my main rationale for giving away my name was it wasn't mine to begin with: it was Donaldon's and to a broader extent a name that other members of this board might want to use if I were no longer a part of the Watch. And thus I gave out perhaps the second most well-known name in the Chronicles (aside from Thomas Covenant) to be used.

If someone has a problem with that they can PM me, but I suggest they get a life.

I've chatted with LF a few times. He seems to be in a good place and as long as he doesn't mind his former name being used by Effy, then I don't care either.
