Usually, when I play ten songs, or so, on danloRadio (my wall on facebook) there's an interlocking theme, but this recent playlist defies description! (if you came come up with a theme more power to you...
Foo Fighters-Back and Forth
Gato Barbieri-Milonga Triste
Pink Floyd-Great Gig in the Sky (share)
Sade-Never as Good as the First Time
The Cure-alt.end
Leslie West/Jack Bruce-Theme From an Imaginary Western (I LOVE this song!)
Stone Temple Pilots-Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart
Beck-New Pollution
Beck-Loser
Stone Temple Pilots-Vasoline
Bush-Glycerine
Deftones-Minerva
Deftones-Change
Brian Eno-Prophesy Theme (Dune soundtrack)
Immediate Music-Pandora
I can see an attempt at a theme between STP & Deftones, but other than that...

It can't get more doomy and gloomy. I love the constant feedback and oversteering they got on that album.
R.I.P. Peter Steele.

I think Frostie might like the links Vader put up.
Nullers, have you heard the Dust album from Peter Murphy? It is so beautiful with his very spiritual lyrics. I love these two in particular:
Subway (epilogue)
Things to remember

Monsters, they eat
Your kind of meat
And they're moving as far as they can
And as fast as they can

And as fast as they can

One of those songs that pop up on the radio once in while then get lodged in the old brain pan for days on end. Maybe not remembering all the lyrics causes this. Anyway...it's cool for cats Squeeze

I've been on a long journey with Queen, and this song is one that I've listened to with not a great deal of interest until recently, it just clicked in my brain, and I've had it on repeat play permanently! The bass is awesome, I love the guitar sound, piano, the whole song is a musical revelation, I love it!

New Smashing Pumpkins: Oceania. Love it!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Been listening a lot to Ed Sheeran's + album. Especially drawn to A Team and Give Me Love, although Kiss Me is still awesome.
Thanks for the rec Sea!
