How will we pick the next Game-Master?!!?

I know:

"Make the Next Moderator ME!" Contest.

Let's keep it short and sweet. In exactly 100 words (no more, no less), using the obligatory word list below, explain why You are the best choice for the role.

Obligatory List:

Obligatory
Putrescence
Feifdom
Swans
Swains
Rudamentary
Cabbage
Carbuncle

-----

I'll give you until Sept. 12th and pick the winner.

Have at it!

Doc

(Had you been counting, you would’ve seen that the above wasn't nearly 100 words, therefore I add this to make it my entrance as clearly I am going to win!)

Actually, if you had been paying attention, you would have realized that you have declared yourself the G-M-by-Doc-Fiat by posting a contest disguised as an entry in the next contest [an attempt, obviously, to justify your Assumption of Power to the Illiteratti [otherwise known as "posters to this thread"].
This is NOT an entry...but I might make one cuz it appeals to me. Though it is demonstrable that I am Illiterator-in-Chief [retired] by right of Foundation. [otherwise known as "hey! I made the thread, but haven't been playing...it''s doing great without me.]

Doc, I will send you all my cabbage aka wgds for the obligatory prise required by the annoying, yet rudimentary peacocks and swans who run this little fiefdom, though my list of swains has grown even smaller than the carbuncle the last one, in his putrescence, gave to me.

Badly obligatory; unfortunate timing, hard luck, bad job of it.
Bad putrescence; bad odor, ill wind, foul smell.
bad fiefdom; dark knight, dark lord, red baron, revolting peasants.
bad swans; ill eagles, robin pillage, duck responsibility.
bad swains, foul mates, chump chums, bad company.
badly rudimentary; undisciplined dilettante, ignorant noobie, false start.
bad cabbage; smelly sauerkraut, burned brassicas, cold cole, slippery slaw.
bad carbuncle; big boil, tumorous tribulation, woeful welt, big zit.
I think I should not moderate the game because my entry was late and I am too busy to do anything about it anyway. Even so, so there.

*stomps in with massive muddy boots and holds the thread at swordpoint*

Right. My fellow Swordmainnir and I have grown exhausted and fretful after rushing aimlessly through half the Land, pursued by soul-consuming banes, hentai tentacle monsters with an iffy lust for Giantesses, were-menhir, and carrying these puny, weakling humans hither and thither, to the point of once anew having been seized by a rabble of ranyhyn in amanibhavam high and now possibly being lead up the Despiser's rectum or something alike.

No Earth-Sight guides us, and we wish to ken what shall come to pass. Hence, write an ending to The Last Dark. Feel free to exercise horrible creativity to the maximum; you can include non-canon characters or even your own, special Mary Sue. Stone and Sea, just make this tension cease!!!
:P

Deadline 31.11.2012.

You got the gold for taking it over. Donation on the way.

It's a new 3rd Chronicles Swordmainnir Appreciation Day I just invented, as we, particularly in the AATE forum, appear to receive merely anti-applauses for our laboring to ensure the preservation of the Earth. :P :P

Got the geld, thanks, and in reality the deadline's adjustable! Hopefully the old regulars wander over too. :D

Hmmm... an ending to The Last Dark... oh my.

I'm missing a few books' worth of context.... but I've overheard a few spoilers by now... so I expect I'll be able to produce some good cringes if I tackle this assignment!
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."

Tempted to cross-post the tale of Dudley Do-Right and Horse previously seen in Win Wayfriend's Money...but would have to "revise and extend" in order to fulfill the assignment of crafting an ending to TLD and the entire TCTC saga.

No, I think I will leave that tale where I left it. I liked the ending the way it is.

I originally mean to add "it doesn't matter if you haven't actually read the LCs" to the assignment description, but for some reason omitted that bit. So, go ahead and surprise us all with your blasphemous masterpiece!
I'm also a spoiler. Zorm wasn't.

 That miiiight be slight cheating, considering that the hostess and many others have been following WF's contest. Yet nothing hinders the participants from slapping in for instance another Saturday morning cartoon character and thus starting afresh!
Preferably something that the whippersnappers born during the 80's here can also recognize. Most references during that particular round of Sarangrave Survivor just lofted over my head. :hide:

8O I guess it reminds me of that Captain Morgan Rum guy, who totally creeped me out when I was a kid. Kind of a lecherous leer, I guess. Sorry. It's beautifully rendered.
