Currently my main gig is songwriting, but I sing lead and backup vocals, play lead and rhythm electric guitar, electric bass, drums, keyboards as much as is necessary. Beyond my band, I enjoy trying to play all the parts for mulitrack recordings I record with Cakewalk on my pc, which forces me to learn to play everything I need.

I am a true master of the kazoo (you should hear me in Nights in Moskow and Hit the road, Jack...)... I played the piano for 9 years and I still can´t read sheet music 8O . I have always believed there is some kind of price to collect for this, I just have not found it jet  I can play The entertainer really fast on the piano though (it has to be fast, otherwise my fingers do not remember what they should do...).

I also collect various types of drums. My latest find is a Bodhran and I really try to learn how to play it. I do play the Swedish bagpipe. Interrested in Swedish bagpipes? check this out:

user.it.uu.se/~crwth/bagpipes/swedish/index.html

My bagpipe, called Grönis ("Green-ie"), has a lovely green bag made of goat skin and pipe (a-e) and drone (low e) made of birch. I will take a picture of it some day and put it in the gallery.

I Play a pretty mean Air Guitar, and have been picking out some chords on my Fender acoustic and Les Paul Sunburst fr the last Coupla years.
Someday I hope to get more involved with it.

I semi-submitted to piano lessons for years, but never played well enough that I could enjoy listening to myself.

Ah, sounds like I could enjoy listening to you, Furls. :-) One of my sisters is an opera singer, but she's such a perfectionist she always dodges my requests for a recording of her.

So would I. Do you live anywhere near the San Francisco Opera Company? She's a coloratura, sounds like an angel to me. She sometimes has solo parts. Not a big deal, but I'm proud of her.

That opera about the assassination of the mayor -- forget the names -- she played the mayor's mother. (Or was it the assassin's mother...?) She's awfully secretive for a performer.

I play guitar, both electric (though extremely sporadically these days :( ) and acoustic. I used to play (and sing) in a vaguely punkish rock band a whole bunch of years ago. I can play electric bass a bit too, but I haven't touched one in years. These days, I'm slightly embarrassed to say that I do most of my music on the computer.

Oh, yeah, and I studied the piano for a few years as a kid and never got the hang of it. I can find my way around the piano and pick out tunes, but I can't play it in time to save my life.

I play bass, both fretted and fretless electric, and I play it well. Things I play not-so-well are: electric guitar, acoustic guitar, dulcimer & lap steel.

I am a clarinettist (and classical guitarist), but I always wanted to play cello, however my hands are too small... a curse indeed.
I just might die with a smile on my face after all.
