And Effie gets in the first entry! Will more follow?

P.S. to other contestants: you don't have to actually use Twitter in this contest.

*sigh*

I finally came up with a concept, but the writing is not easy, and I really don't know if it will make any sense, much less me do the idea justice...

Meatloaf and meatballs
Differences diminutive
Both popular, plainly
Edibles of everyday
In the Nordic nations
Stone-cold Scandinavia

Other treats try,
Flavors fain feel:

Buttermilk, bread from rye
Berries of cloud, cran
Sauerkraut and skyr soft
Mämmi, meat of reindeer!

My apologies for the delay. I really did only come up with a concept I liked yesterday, PMd way asking if it would be acceptable (received an affirmative reply), and wrote it today. As I said above, I haven't used twitter much, and what I have used has only been via twitter.com, so my formatting is based on what I've seen on my twitter feed.

Be that as it may, I hope the concept makes sense. I still believe I am not a storyteller, but I did my best. Enjoy...

The young Woodhelvennin ran with the other young Winhomes, absorbing what the Cord chose to reveal this day. Even though he was different from the others, his love for the great Ranyhyn was just as strong. He was determined to learn all he could, and become the best runner and Ranyhyn-tender in the Plains of Ra.

Shortly after, his device gave a buzz, and he glanced at it to see a tweet from the woman.

Llaura @Heer_Llaura
@Woodhelvennin_Ramen My time runs short. When will you return?

Sighing in exasperation, the lad chooses his set response.

Pietten @Woodhelvennin_Ramen
@Heer_Llaura Run, Ranyhyn: gallop, play--- feed, and drink, and coat-gloss gleam…

Llaura @Heer_Llaura
@Woodhelvennin_Ramen As you were, so shall you always be. Be True to yourself, Pietten. Fare thee well.

A few years later, as he neared the age of Cording, he learned that honor would be with held from him. He may live his life as Ramen, but he was not born to them! So he would never advance beyond a Winhome with these people.

Pietten @Woodhelvennin_Ramen Butchers of Ranyhyn! Vermin! I will show you all!
#TheLand

Without warning, his device responded.

Despair @Gray_Slayer
@Woodhelvennin_Ramen You are correct. You ready yourself to serve the Ranyhyn, while they merely tend them. You can do more than they, since you see the need.

Pietten @Woodhelvennin_Ramen
@Gray_Slayer Fangthane. Renderer of Ranyhyn. You are not heeded here.

Despair @Fangthane
@Woodhelvenen_Ramen Here is a small piece of advice. You can choose if you wish to heed me or not. Cleaning wounds with water suffices. You can do better.

Pietten @Woodhelvennin_Ramen
@Fangthane By what means can I improve upon the teachings of the Manethralls?

Despair @Fangthane
@Woodhelvennin_Ramen Use your tongue to clean the wounds. You can reach deeper and more accurately than with water and cloth.

The teen’s eyes gleamed with a deep hunger, as he unconsciously licked his lips.

Pietten @Woodhelvennin_Ramen
@FangthaneYou speak wisely…

Despair @Fangthane
@Woodhelvennin_Ramen It is ever thus. Such is the guidance and advice I can offer. Choose to follow my tweets and learn more.

With the push of a button, the Woodhelvennin's die is cast. In time, further tweets convinced him the Ramen coverts were slaughterhouses of Ranyhyn, and that if given the chance, he must bring the White Gold to Fangthane himself, in order to save his great Love.

So Pietten spent the years between The Search for the Staff of Law and the revelation of his betrayal of the Ramen.

Yes, it's time to vote!

Spectators gets ONE vote. They vote for the BEST entry.

Contestants do NOT get to vote any longer, for the same reason spectators get ONE vote: because we're down to just three.

Perkeleen perkeleen perkele. Haven't I assented before that voting in this contest is a bugger due to equally good entries?

Örrr...Savor Dam. Because of the puns and Doar Sill.

Well done, everyone else! :D

I need to watch the episode again, before I vote

Effaeldm, because I hardly understood a word of it which perfectly sums up my understanding of twitter. And I thought Effy captured it well.

I vote for Savor Dam.

I think he should be banned for life for this line:
Wasting Giants.
His Raver doing Otis Redding was borderline genius, but I felt bad for laughing so hard at it :haha:

Oh dear, so difficult; they are all very different. Savor Dam made me laugh most so I vote for him.

This was really tough, I weighed everything over and over again, the entries were all excellent and great fun to read.

in the end, I gotta go with SavorDam for his rendition of Dock of Coercri and the Shetra Snack topped off with Kermit's Mantra "It's not easy being green"
