Listening to Love This Giant, the collaboration between St Vincent and David Byrne which I bought last week. I thought I might warm to it, but, apart from a few tracks, it's really not working for me. :(

"Who" is excellent, though.

In this one of many possible worlds,
All for the best or some bizarre test?
It is what it is and whatever,
Time is still the infinite jest

The arrow flies when you dream,
The hours tick away,
The cells tick away

The Watchmaker keeps to his schemes,
The hours tick away, they tick away

The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect,
So hard to earn so easily burned
The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect,
So hard to earn so easily burned

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect

In the rise and the set of the sun,
'Til the stars go spinning,
Spinning 'round the night
Oh, it is what it is, and forever
Each moment a memory in flight

The arrow flies while you breathe,
The hours tick away,
The cells tick away,

The Watchmaker has time up his sleeve,
The hours tick away, they tick away

The measure of a life is a measure of love and respect,
So hard to earn so easily burned

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect
(It's a measure of a life)

The treasure of a life is a measure of love and respect,
The way you live, the gifts that you give

In the fullness of time,
It's the only return that you expect

The future disappears into memory
With only a moment between.
Forever dwells in that moment,
Hope is what remains to be seen.
Forever dwells in that moment,
Hope is what remains to be seen.

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect
(It's a measure of a life)

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect
(It's a measure of a life)

In the fullness of time,
A garden to nurture and protect

(It's a measure of a life)
(It's a measure of a life)
(It's a measure of a life)
(It's a measure of a life)

Totally hooked on Lana Del Rey's 2 albums. Didn't think I cared for her at all the first time i saw her. Now been listening to nothing but Born to Die and Paradise non stop for the last couple of days.

Nada Surf - Let Go.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Queen - Made in Heaven

Earlier I listened to my Les Mis CD of the 10th Birthday concert.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Realized the other day that what little
Styx I had was back in Gator Town, with no mp3s on my lap top. Thanks to a co-mod of this forum, that has now been rectified, and I have listened to The Grand Illusion. :)

Stuck in the '90s, and have been enjoying some Silverchair :D

Good old fashioned sensitive new age rock  Daniel Johns was a young and talented musician back in the day.

Do you feel the same

Oh! It's been sooo long since I've listened to Silverchair!

Oh yeah! Frogstomp was a cool album. They developed rapidly with each album, and seemed to run out of steam in the end...
