What a lovely cake. Mrs Vader is so much into dragon literature these days, she love this cake.

Yes. Right now she's reading Naomi Novik.

Can't turn her into a fan of the Land though. But I can understand it - she doesn't read English books and the German translations are crap. She liked Mordan's Need though.

hmm...

I think I see a labor of love for next year's chr-stmas gift, if you begin now...

...even if you can only get one novel a year done. I bet your own translation of LFB would get her hooked, and you'll have a decade of gifts planned out. ;)

that is a lovely cake. we used to enjoy Duff's cake show when it was on. what they can do with cake nowadays is amazing.

I'm thinking if I could have this in a plaster or some other material I could display permanently, that would be my preferred means. I'm not a fan of the taste and texture of fondant, which I assume is what the edible cake would be decorated with.
