Cartons of Cartoons

Post by sgt.null »

Of course, he had lost something else.
In his confusion, he lost opportunity.
the annoying woman pushed strongly
even though insured to the sea. I saw
that his next step would be to kill the
wife of a surgeon, respected. Or maybe
at a voluntary hospital. Bastard claims
that he could brutalize me every day.

Sunday's lion channels the children's book
Harold. So life is about death and futility.
This Day reminds us of this. Yes, please
say how you escaped the bomb for a few
days. I never lost at tag. But seriously now,
as they came home and father was ready to
honor his wife. ending everything we had.
And finally a third cycle enables a finished job!

All that and oh, by the way, we were to marry.
Girls, still you have not run for your life. You
have not won it all now. So watch that which
comes at you. So, say the cartoonist is not really
gambling. Nor will the master detectives watch.
Neither has he has forgotten his own character.
Everyone looks upwards towards your depression.
Stunning voltage of the games? I am not the one.

Jason must be about eleven years old and so his
mother was written very strict, as what children
can and can not see on television. No way should
they have cable shows that can not be observed.
This is what was the day and it was good. Wow,
it is dark. I think we all learned something today!
We responded to the cave of fragments. He was
dead as of yesterday and brought out a syndrome.

And yet they no longer live. It would not kill you,
but because it is a cockroach it will live eternally
to torture us. And yet, the pair of urban hells go
far beyond the sweet toil of flowers and silence.
Peter has no rules yet learned how to deal with
Jonas. You had a voice and price before images.
It is how you see a penny. And now, Broadway?
Hurry to get out, we still have not the last drop.

What needs these bands not detected by sudden
mood fluctuations. If hikers now think that these
characters are supposed to be soldiers, So what?
Wiil we not secure their release? He has spoken with
a squirrel! Maybe they reason about the new length
of children these old days. Finally, the origin of the
fun games played at the beach. That they do not
produce greenhouses has not altered sleek foxes.

for a second what a shard could be found, Limit
interactions with dangerous drug addicts. And
now if you like purity and all, but what the hell
did you find in the street? They sell? We cried
out with a look of surprise. So did you know that
everything has an option? Now let us take each
other something very special for the holidays!
I love his sociopathic smile at the words of dying.

Sometimes the same policies can be comforting.
(This is precious.) Then at the same time bleach
down aisle nine. The resistance is futile. So come
dawn, the wreckage was lost in the sense of then
providing the good female camera. So many recycle
their shallow hatred in a storyline. In all cases, you
are boring. Of course college, is open to many crazy
emergency room debauchery trinkets. Proof of love?

Jason probably convinced his mother, who is the local
news. We go to the trailer tomorrow. Fortunately, the
bastards burnt part of the books. Dispel understandings!
It would be crazy, think about how the gang would lose
their deposit. Why does it seem a speech policy? They
already know who they vote for. You do not believe the
course on self-control. It would that either his terribly
deformed thoughts as they might be. He loves his wife.

Angles were covered in abundance. I confess that I do
not know what jokes that they refer. Those who brave
enough to give me a clue? It is not surprising that they
ask to be shot. It took a long time to this event really.
I sincerely hope that causes his marriage to his vassel.
What are colleagues and readers and who misses all the
opportunities? I have the impression of weeping Angels.
Now showing at the pond are cool storage and gesturing.

Really good! (I think) Even though I don't know what to think about it as a whole (besides thoughts that would find themselves tying back into the title).

Some of my favorite fragments were:
So, say the cartoonist is not really
gambling. Nor will the master detectives watch.
Neither has he has forgotten his own character.
You had a voice and price before images.
It is how you see a penny.

The bolded one being my favorite. To explain how I view it, it relates to the "penny for thoughts" phrase, and the development of the idea that one can occasionally muster thoughts and ideas are worthwhile enough to have monetary value (and thus have value in themselves), and that the wage itself (in currency) comes to symbolize the worth of one's existence and individuality in spite of decent and fairly robust ideologies that largely provide evidence that its an ability for the individual to be discounted that allows them to be useful (perhaps from a planning perspective). Well maybe that comes across as simplistic.

I'll try and post a bit about the bolded one later but it seems like I can't really...post!

holsety - i am glad you enjoyed. the entire poem is about growing up with television as a constant companion. i imagined the lead here growing up, all of life going on around. i did like your explanation and it made me look at the lines differently.

even though any piece i do may have a meaning for me, i enjoy hearing what others take away from it. i like that it can have different meanings. just like a song may mean something to me and to you in two different ways.

www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/wilco/hateithere.html

the song i linked is about the singer staying at home while his wife is away. but because i heard it right after my friend was killed by a drunk driver, i always think of it as me singing about how i miss him and hate having to live in a world without him.

so thank you for your thoughtful analysis.

Ya, np. Makes sense to me. (your feeling I mean). Some songs come up like that for me.

I will say that reading it under the "growing up with TV" assumption seemed to solidify the poem itself a little more for me as less of a blur, though I still bet I almost entirely lost it. Originally, I took in the "you" as an address to "me." Not that sgt was writing a poem for a kw user, but to put more accurately, that someone was trying to explain someone else, to that someone else, and share their feelings about them. It's interesting to think of the lead as maybe using you in that way, about the tv images, or about the life around them in general, knowing they're not really talking to another person, but still feeling about what they've seen in that way. Or even feeling very confident such a "collective" really isn't there, not to mention a lack of realism on the TV.

But I admit that while it "feels" confident that he and they and such generally refer to certain TV characters, persons, etc., the you and I does not seem so clear cut.
(well the I does seem to be a TV viewer)

EDIT-Oh, and thanks for the poem.
