Just got through checking SRD's site. The first rewrite of the The Last Dark has been finished. If my quick mental math is correct, this process only shaved off roughly 150 pages from the first draft. Not sure how significant that is, but it seems that this one will be packed with new Last Chronicles goodies.
Would have posted in The Last Dark forum, but can't.

Yea, the blurb said should be on target for that.

LOL - really? I liked the Power that Preserves best. Although, the parts with Morahm fighting the Raver may have been the best chapters in the entire series.
Although TC was the central character of the series, I thought that Hile Troy was one of the most compelling characters of all of the Chronicles. Some of the most riveting chapters were about the battles across the Plains and down to meet the Forestal. Verement's "I match you hate for hate" would be a stunning one liner in any blockbuster movie.
Hello! I'm brand new here, but I've been a Stephen R. Donaldson fan since the 70's--when I bought my first set of The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. I pre-ordered the last two books of The Last Chronicles, and I can't wait to pre-order the last book...

u.
On the contrary, we would treat any newcomers the same way we treat the old-timers (not that I am really an 'old timer' but you know what I mean)--everyone gets an equal dose of disdain and sarcasm. That is our "love language", you see.
