Lost Girl

Post by Mega Fauna Blitzkrieg »

It's a fun enough show, but is anyone else getting sick of supernatural shows that spend all their budget on pretty pretty actors, even one episode people and or extras, and have nothing left for special effects or costumes?!

The Wolfman character on that show is not only not very wolfy, he is actually less hairy than a normal man! His chest is shaved or shaved-ish, even his armpits are shaved, he has that little 'i dont care' bad boy pretween beard, but beyond that he is hairless as a uh, non mammal?

Not just Lost Girl, Supernatural and True Blood too (Although less so for that one since they have their big fancy HBO budget).

That show Grimm appears to spend money on costumes and effects, but the rest of the show just seems so...not boring, but also not interesting, just very coasting.

I've always thought that Supernatural has the hottest demons of any show. So, yeah I kinda agree :)

I started watching Lost Girl the first season but after a few episodes, I lost interest. Does it get better? I see it's still on.

Lost Girl is essentially Supernatural with two cute girls instead of two cute boys. Actually, laughably, there is less drama and discussion of feelings among the characters in lost girl than in supernatural.

As for better it um, is a little too subjective to say. I think Lost Girl would fall into the guilty pleasure category for anyone seasoned enough to realize what a guilty pleasure is? It certainly didn't teach me any new philosophies, or shatter my world view.

I would say it is about the same as Supernatural, really. Oh but it did also end on a cliff hanger this year, so don't catch up on it right away if you are impatient.
I know what an analogy is! It's like a thought...with another thought's hat on...?

The thing most people don't remember in regards to the Haruchai, is that you NEVER EVER play poker with them!
