Yes - I can get that. It's probably a distance thing but in europe the scars of that period run really deep - as they should! We killed more of our own people in Europe in the 20 C. than had been killed in all human conflict prior to that period - something around 150,000,000 people would be a coservative estimate. Historian Niall Fergusson puts it closer to 200 million.
