How about just not reading it?

If you don't read it you can imagine all the potential conclusions for as long as you like. Just saying

Aye, that might work...as long as one also ceases visiting the Watch so as not to receive unearned knowledge. Seems a high price to pay.

As for me, it's too late. My advice is to read it and find out. It is worth the ride!

Agree. If it was BAD, I'd tell you to not read it and use your imagination. But it's pretty good. Well worth the read.

Why drawn the line there?

You could read the first paragraph of Lord Foul's Bane, then set it down forever.

Actually... that would be an interesting experiment. O_o

I couldn't bear to do that...... Every time I entered a bookstore it would look me in the face and whisper: "Read me....... Reeeeead meeeeeeeee......"
I have hit myself in the head many times in the attempt to transport myself into an achingly beautiful fantasy land where, despite having mostly just messed around in high school, I'm qualified to be the savior of the entire world.

'Not reading it' is not an option I'd consider. Unless he loops it like the other Stephen did in the Dark Tower Series.

I don't know what I was thinking. The last three I was at the bookshop the days they arrived. I guess I will be there this time too.
