What do ya'll think?

Post by Reisheiruhime »

Ok. I thought this song up a little while ago. Tell me what ya'll think.

Lylah's Luring Song

Cast your heart into the ocean.
Throw your soul into the sea.
Cast your mind into the heavens.
But please, remember me.

Ask not what I do not offer,
But what I seek to give.
Ask not when you will die,
But how long you will live.

Cast your heart into the ocean.
Throw your soul into the sea.
Cast your mind into the heavens,
But please, remember me.

Leave your body in the sands of time;
Leave your memory on the moon.
I have many ways of knowing,
So I will find out soon.

Cast your heart into the ocean.
Throw you're soul into the sea.
Cast your mind into the heavens.
But please, remember me.

Please, remember me.
Remember me...

"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I like it, too. I can hear it being sung by Loreena McKennit. :)
Love as thou wilt.

Well, it is a song of one of the merwives in the books I'm writing. :) And yes, it is an Enya type song. :) Loreena Mckennit would sound great singing it. :)
