I love him. My favorite book has to be "The Cosmic Rape", which I bet Zeph likes too. Heh. My favorite short story is "It was nothing, really". WHat do you guys think?
Dandelion don't tell no lies
Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries
Blow away dandelion
I'm afraid there's no denying
I'm just a dandelion
a fate I don't deserve.

Sturgeon's Law! I forgot that! Anyway, I have a favorite title of his, too. It is "If All Men Were Brothers, Would You Let One Marry Your Sister?" or something like that.

I love Sturgeon and have been reading him longer than SRD.
My absolute favorite stories of his are "The Traveling Crag" and "A Saucer of Loneliness." Most vehemently recommended. (Make sure you don't have anything scheduled immediately after reading them...high voltage.) "Slow Sculpture" is a close third.
Godbody, a posthumously published novel whose paperback edition has an Afterword by SRD, is another profound piece of work. (I recommend it for mature and nonpuritan readers, as it has erotic content that is essential to the story and the character development.)

Yeah, Godbody is very unique. Kind of reminiscent of Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land", but definitely it's own story.
