Is Donaldson done? He's pretty old.

TLD is published; I can't imagine what he's doing now.

I'd like to see him put together another short story collection.

In it we have:

1) A sequel to Daughter of Regals
2) Pirates of the Asteroid Moon: A Morn Hyland Adventure
3) Bonus unpublished chapter from The Last Dark
4) + various other entertaining short stories written over the last decade.

I'd like to see him set off on a new multi-book epic. Maybe science fiction, maybe fantasy.

A Mordant's Need-like duology, perhaps.

Something new!

I think StevieG and Savor Dam are right: it will be another Man Who book. But I'm with Condign in wishing for another short story collection.

I think I'd also like to see another Man Who book, I loved the last one, (which I read first and then went back and read the others) and definitely would like a resolution of Ginny and Mick's story. Damn do I love the names he creates! So evocative.

It occurred to me today that what I would really like to see from SRD is an autobiography. I know it would probably be anathema to him, but something about the way he's been more open in interviews since the publication of TLD suggests to me that the story would be a great one!

This past weekend, SRD told us that he had just finished the first draft of a novelette and sent it to his agent. I suspect a 3rd collection of short stories is in the works.

I have it on good authority that the newest SRD book will be a manga adaption of Wuthering Heights.

I love the vampires he's adding in. I promised not to reveal anything, but the glances I got of the new stuff was really hot. Think Twilight meets Xmen in a classical literature setting, but in a sexy future. Am I allowed to just say the name of the new hero and his lover? Oh, I can't stop myself!
Spoiler

The fight scene getting into the Earn$hazz Confederation's fortress is amazing, too. Love how SRD turns it all around and the Vamp Clan has to team up with the Earn$hazz Confederation to battle the invading army of Gloambots of the Unhermeneuticalariverse.

Honestly, you lot are so damn ill-informed.

I have it on the very best of authority that SRD has decided to
