I saw this movie with my son. The first movie that we have seen in the theater as father and son. It was a lot of fun, and strange character cameos made this a joy.
Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life
"I know what America is. America is a thing that you can move very easily. Move it in the right direction. They won't get in the way." (Benjamin Netenyahu 2001.)
....and the glory of the world becomes less than it was....
'Have we not served you well'
'Of course - you know you have.'
'Then let it end.'
Nah, you could wait for rental. Big screen doesn't add much. The look of the movie is unique. It really looks like stop-motion animation done with actual Legos, so it's not obviously CGI (maybe it's not at all, idk). But the look of the movie isn't as important as the story.
DLB, what did you not like about it? It sucked me in right from the beginning, where the little guy is going about his day by reading the instruction manual.
I really liked the conformity/control/determinism vs nonconformity/freewill stuff. And I like the guy from Parks and Recreation (plays Andy) who voiced the main character.
