I haven't chimed in for a while, but I also booked through Efest at the Sheraton. I don't think I get there until that Friday (I'm driving across the country on a road trip, and I don't have my itinerary handy). I'll also have a guest with me who isn't a TC reader and who doesn't know SRD, so this should be interesting, heh.

we have offered to pick up Coz (Lord Zombiac), but that is up in the air. if he can't make it we will be having a meal with him in his hometown.

if we do bring him, we can't get him home because we are going on to the Grand Canyon.

last time I had Jenn's number and Coz's number. if anyone feels a need to swap phone numbers, pm me here or drop me a line on fb.

I will be bringing some sort of road diary book / thing , so everyone must sign.

My situation is constantly changing. I have taken out a credit card so I can get a rental car so Phyllie can go to work while I'm out. However, she works the overnight shift and just found out the daycare at work closes at 2:00 AM. My mother in law's life is very chaotic, as she has a human parasite always causing her trouble and won't get rid of him, so if need be I may just show up for the dinner and leave at about 11:00 just so I can be back in time to pick up the baby. I'm hoping it won't come to that. It would be a shame not to spend a lot of time with everyone and I really want to go on the field trip Sunday. I'm hoping to catch a break tonight and be able to write my Lord Foul song, with hopefully a video that I can share and present to SRD as a gift. Best case scenario I get there Saturday around noonish, then leave Sunday evening or night.
I would love to say confirmed, but you have no idea the amount of trouble this nasty derelict keeps causing. This week's drama saw him in our local hospital with an infection in his hand from dirty heroin needles, then he went crazy and started screaming at the hospital that he was going to kill everyone, so they sent his ass off to a nuthouse in Roswell, my mother in law keeps going over there to give him clothes and stuff, and today the idiot got airlifted to Lubbock because his infection got worse. I hope it kills him, and I never thought I could even think that about another human being without guilt. My mother in law shouldn't have to divide her time between family and that street trash.

An update to wayfriend's most excellent calendar: I will be staying an extra day in Albuquerque, so not leaving until Monday June 23rd. I'm staying at the Sheraton (on Yale Boulevard, in case there's more than one Sheraton in Albuquerque).

Good news. I wrote a killer song and recorded it "Foul is our Lord." so now hopefully I get another few days to work on some crash animation in the next few weeks! Best news though-- the casino does have 24 hour daycare, in the summer!, which is just 1 week away! (yes I know the solstice is much closer to Elohimfest, but for the casino it starts next week! We really hate to use day care (we heard theirs was particularly bad) but unless the accursed one dies in Lubbock, I think we'll have to use it a little more often! Tonight was the first night I got to sleep without the baby in 4 months! (and the first time I got to record some music!).
I have not rented a car in 20 years, so I'm still uncertain if you can go ahead and say "confirmed." Last time I rented a car it was $40 a day, and you didn't need a huge balance on your credit card, you just needed to have one as a "security deposit." this card has only got a $300 balance, but unless renting a car is $100 a day or more and they need a high balance now, you can confirm me! (not Phyllis or Zappa, unfortunately). And yes, I will be bringing cash too, and my tent.

I said "y'all" a lot more when I was a kid, ussusimiel, as a hillbilly living in rural southern Missouri, where we "worshed" our dishes after dinnertime. But now that I'm a college-educated hillbilly, I don't say "y'all" so much anymore. Still, if you feel like it, y'all can say "y'all" just as much as y'all want to...it will only remind me of home.

There are two I think. Airport, and Uptown. You are ... not Uptown.

But I think several other attendees are in the Sheraton Airport.
