I'll probably get in to Albuquerque noon saturday-- where's everyone gonna be-- another gay pride parade? Should I meet everyone at a breakfast place?

Plane to Chicago fell to pieces on the airport. Stranded in Helsinki. Will try to get to the States again tomorrow after a compensated night in a hotel.

Oh Helsinki!!..Better there than up in the air.. Was anybody hurt? I knew a girl from Helsinki . Not really..she got stranded there back in 1979. Shes still there. See you soon..

I am working very hard on the "staff of vision" which will be the first staff I have owned since I wandered as a teenager roleplaying "lord foul" by myself. After not finding a suitable piece of wood on any of my hikes, a fire broke out and my well-sharer had to shut off his water to turn on his sprinkler system. I had henna in my hair so I went to the river to wash my hair and lo and behold, there was the perfect staff, just as it was meant to be. The bark was like the skin of a russet potato and I am fairly sure it came from a young deciduous hardwood. I stripped off the bark to reveal a mellow white and chiseled off the knobs. I will venture into Andelain with this staff, sunday. if I have time I will put magic glyphs on it and coat it with varnish.

I'm more or less packed - only things to go in now that I need tomorrow morning. Hopefully towels will be provided at the hotels as I have no room to pack any. Thank goodness I don't need any thick clothing. I get the train from Newark to Kings X tomorrow evening. Leave England 9.30 Wednesday morning (or thereabouts, presuming the plane doesn't fall to pieces like Frosty's did!).

I hope SD found my photo on the Watchers FB site - taken Friday last.

I'm really nervous, chaps and chapesses, please keep your fingers crossed for me.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order!

Io, hotels do indeed provide towels.

Yes, I saw the photo of you standing in the garden showing off your new hairdo.

See you soon!

Ah, but which one? The website indicates there are several in Albuquerque.

confirmed indeed. the one we went to was near NMSU if I'm not mistaken. If 12 or 1 os too late to meet up, I can try to get there earlier, but it will involve Phyllis getting up from a late shift to pick up her check.

The one in Central Ave. It's normally been a Saturday morning stop. Last time, the Pride Parade route was in front while we were there, hence. LZ's reference.
