Wow. Since Mork & Mindy, Robin Williams has been one of the funniest comedians in TV and film. My favorite movie of his is Dead Poets Society. He'll be missed. Godspeed.

Yeah, DPS is my favorite, too. Great actor. His stand up stuff was amazing in the beginning. He never much got new material, but still, he was something else.

While it received mediocre reviews, my favorite film of his is What Dreams May Come. The scene towards the end with his wife in Hell just...

I read a news story just now that said when he was at Julliard, he was sometimes one of only two students in the class. The other was Christopher Reeve. And the professor was John Houseman.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall...

The whole thing's just so sad. The news reports have been saying he suffered from depression, but a social worker friend says he was actually bipolar. I can definitely see that -- some of his humor was so manic.

Yes.. I loved this movie. Its ironic that, in this movie he is trying to save his wife after she commits suicide.

Christopher Reeve said that Williams was the first person to make him smile after his accident.

Yawner movie. But a very fun, almost self-evident casting choice.

except RW? Fun choice again.

It's like these parts were created just because we had RW to put in them.

This is so hard to look at. How do we get to this point? I always felt his depression under all that mania. I feel that way about Jim Carrey too.

When he was not 'on' he was a very decent actor. But I couldn't watch his manic stuff. I felt it was off, very bipolar. Another one lost to the void.

so sad.
