Thanks much, danlo. I'm really happy to finally get it done. I find Hierachy's Avatar very interesting. The hidden meanings. The distracting patterns. The witchcraft.

With both hands on his utensil, I imagine the appliance itself could perform the typing. Imangine the extra control you'd have. It would be pretty slow going though. And a bit painful. :-)

Just an update. The sample books I ordered will arrive this monday Dec. 22. I will let everyone know how they turned out and give my approval for the quality. For those who helped out with the book I will begin ordering your copies after Christmas. :-)

I finally got a few copies of the book today and it looks pretty good. Very professional printing by cafe press. Now that I'm satisfied with the quality, those of you who requested a signed copy can work out arrangements with me. The four of you who helped me with editing, I will order your copies after Christmas, sign them and send them to you. Thanks again everyone.

Good to hear, SS. Can't wait. I didn't realize I was getting a free one, so I'll still buy one after x-mas sometime so I can have one to donate to the library.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

DF, that is very cool of you. Once I've gotten the books I'll contact you by pm or email to get your shipping address. I hope to have copies signed and sent out to all of my editors before the end of January.
I couldn't have gotten it done without you.

Based upon the quality of the story I edited I'm anxiously awaiting the final product. I think Syl's idea about purchasing one for the library is excellent and I'll do the same...but I'm keeping my autographed copy so I can say "I knew him when..." ;)
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. "Good news everyone."
Folly's Challenge has been picked up by a genuine publishing company. I am waiting for the contracts to arrive to review and sign. After that I'll be working with an editing team to discuss any changes they feel need to be made. This has put the kabosh on my Publish On Demand version of the book. The bad news is that I won't be permitted to reward those of you who helped with the POD until the new version is completed. The Good news is that Folly's Challenge will be seated next to Lord Foul's Bane on the bookshelves of bookstores all over the country. Wahoo! The deal will be the same though. I will sign and send copies of the new book to the four wonderful watchmembers (and dAN :D) that helped me when I needed it the most. A thousand times thanks.

That would be great. Maybe I'll be able to do a book signing in your neighborhood Barnes & Noble. :D
