It is amazing how people evolve as they move through life. We change so much as the day to day events shape us. I think that our core, the deep part of us, remains the same, tho. I, too, have been going through a change in attitude and spirituality. I still believe in the things I have always believed in, but the way I see them now is quite different than the way I saw them as a child and adolescent. I think that is mostly do to the loss of my mother and then becoming a mother myself. I am no longer naive to my belief system, nor am I unquestioningly accepting of it.
For Myles--
When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings

When evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
For Mom--
Did you ever know that you're my hero,
and everything I would like to be?
I can fly higher than an eagle,
for you are the wind beneath my wings.
Fly...fly high against the sky...
Thank you, thank you, thank God for you
The wind beneath my wings
