The guy standing above the 're' in Serenity. It also looks like he's wielding a torch to hold back an angry mob, but like I said, I need more sleep.

Yep Ali, it's a real thing.

For a number of years now. diaries based upon the godlike Terry Pratchett's Discworld have been sporadically published. Here's a complete list.
Discworld's Unseen University Diary: 1998
Discworld's Ankh-Morpork City Watch Diary 1999
Discworld Assassins' Guild (Yearbook and) Diary 2000
Discworld Fools' Guild (Yearbook and) Diary 2001
Discworld Thieves' Guild (Yearbook and) Diary 2002
Discworld (Reformed) Vampyre's Diary 2003
Discworld Post Office Diary 2007
Lu Tze's Yearbook of Enlightenment 2008
Discworld Diary: We r Igors 2015: First and Last Aid: 2015
Because all of the above are effectively (time-)limited editions, they tend to increase in value fairly rapidly. For example, the going price for the 1998 diary is now approx. $170.

Do you not know Chiana from Farscape? For shame. As penance, go watch all four seasons and the miniseries.

That track was the lovechild of The Cure and Bauhaus.

Take the guitarwork and rhythm from this

and combine it with the vocals from this (stay with it... the vocals kick in at 2:50)

Uncanny really... mind you it's no bad thing because of that (says he as an early Cure and Bauhaus fan).
