The A Perfect Circle version of The Nurse Who Saved Me is better than the original by Failure (though still good).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

This is the second time in a week that I've read good things about A Perfect Circle. Perhaps someone is trying to tell me something.Caer Sylvanus wrote:The A Perfect Circle version of The Nurse Who Saved Me is better than the original by Failure (though still good).
One of my favorite covers is the Revolting Cocks version of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya think I'm Sexy?"

Joe Cocker does some great versions. Although I think nobody can beat The Beatles at their own game, his version of "With A Little Help From My Friends" is my all-time favorite Beatles cover. His cover of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" is also great, but, again, I don't think he did it better than the Animals.
Despite that, his cover of "Feeling Alright" puts Traffic's original to shame.
