Ouch. Well, to add insult to injury, my hunter completed the Seal mission, and she will probably never set foot in a raid.

Looking forward to Molten Core, though I'm probably going to have to turn my graphic settings to the bare minimum.

Yeah, my game would hang up at the start of Ordos raids, so MC will probably be pretty bad.

Framerate wasn't as bad as I expected, but having to break out my Jeeves on the third trash pull... Don't know if I got an exceptionally bad group, or if it's just brutal. Mind you, I didn't expect a 40-man pug of fresh 100s to go smoothly. Will try again later.

Probably not a good idea to try on the first day, but I want the mount!

It's actually not that bad with a halfway-decent group. Trash is worse than the bosses.

I did it this morning. Took nearly two hours, really not worth going through more than once.

What would you do if you got a BoE i665 epic in a Salvage crate? I've got some shoulders and need to decide if I'll use them or sell them...

Now I'm wishing I'd gone with salvage instead of enchanting. Oh well, leveling my priest next, and she will have learned from my shaman's mistakes.

That's a tough call. I'd be tempted to keep them if they're main spec, but they'd sell for a pretty penny right now with everyone getting ready for raiding.

I'd say the Salvage Yard is an absolute must, at least when you have all 3 small plots available. It's very, very random - you get greys, Draenor crafting mats, gear from level 1 to 100, and fairly often you get follower upgrades. At level 3 (which I just reached) they contain up to 4-5 things at once, and have a chance at gear for your character (like the shoulders I got).

I'm getting all my followers up to a reasonable gear level through Salvage, but avoiding knocking any into 630 ilevel just yet, because I don't want to unlock raid missions I can't complete (this may be a dumb decision).

I have LW and engineering (my professions), and I got the enchanting building because I liked the idea of being able to DE all my unneeded stuff. Think I'm sold on swapping it to salvage though - I have a decent stockpile of enchanting mats now, and will be leveling my enchanter next.

I've already gotten two Blackrock Weaponries (the one that gives a follower a 630 weapon) - had only seen a mission for that once, which failed. Definitely the way to go for gearing followers. I'm trying to keep mine under 630 until I have a group with diverse abilities that I can upgrade all at once.

I've just bumped my first one to 630. I can get another up there tomorrow once she's off mission, and hopefully others will soon follow.

I've just gotten another 665 BoE epic from salvage. This one was a tank cloak, so it's up on the AH.

And I spent 900 resources today on upgrading a building, only to find I now can't afford the resources to send all my followers on missions. I'm spending them faster than I can get them back.

I'm in the same boat. As much as I'd like to swap out my lumber mill, it's just not viable yet. I'm already about 70% of the way to being able to upgrade my salvage yard to level 3, but I wonder if I shouldn't hold off and farm more follower gear first.

At least profession buildings are really cheap to upgrade.

Wowhead shows the contents of Big Crate of Salvage as being mainly player gear, so I was thinking that chances for follower gear dropped at level 3, but it still seems to be RNG.

I've cancelled my sub again, though my time doesn't expire until christmas. This game is just unhealthy for me.
