I would've rated my review a spectacular 6 out of 10, except for my stupid typo "A endless tape loop." In which case, I have to dock 1 point.
aTOMiC wrote:...I'm tempted to include all the reviews at the beginning of the book. That's done from time to time, right?
Yes indeed! In fact, I secretly sent your story to some publications and got back some interesting reviews from them. These may or may not be good for the beginning of the book:
"In a month that has produced more strange Kevin's Watch fiction than any previous year, the appearance of the massive Flower of Doom saga comes, remarkably, as a sort of climax. It will certainly find a place on the small list of the truly odd in its specialized field." - Manitoba Book Depot
"The
Crime and Punishment of Kevin's Watch literature. " - Winnipeg Optimist Weekly
"The book is filled with weird stuff. There is a special glee in Cummins & Southard's descriptions of Southerland Castle. Because their eye for irrelevance is good and feeling for their characters totally sarcastic, Southerland Castle is as real and substantial as any of the castles we visited last year on our staff vacation. At least I
think those were castles." - Kevin's Watch Insider

Um...Matrix...I notice that the bulk of the reviewers you mention come from Canada. Should we be worried about our friends to the North?

You can download it for free from the
lulu site, iQ.
Or...some of it is in dAN's
The Story thread in the Hall of Gifts.

It's not my thread! Can't you see that this 'Clouseau' character stole my identity? Must I forever be connected with this book? Will it never end? Oh, the humanity!

That is because I am not a writer, as you should know, because you've mockingly told everybody here that when you stole my identity and were pretending to be me.

You have no proof. And even if you did, there's nothing wrong with me going undercover; I have crimes to solve, you know!

Could you arch your back a little when you shake your head?
That's it; thanks.

Cool song. I still didn't write the damn book, BTW. And I didn't steal anybody's bloody identity, either.

(Yo man) Yo
(Open up man) What do you want man?
(the watch just caught me)
You let them catch you?
(I don't know how I let this happen)
With what?
(The book on lulu, you know?) Man...
(I don't know what to do) Say it wasn't you
(Alright)
Avatar came in and he caught me red-handed
writing with tom next door
Picture this we were both typing
typing on the machine some more
How could I forget
That I had given him an extra copy
All this time he was standing there
he never took his eyes off me
How yougrant the watch access to your villa
Trespasser and witness while you cling on your denial
You better watch your back before they turn into killers
Best for you the situation not to call the esmer
To be a true player you have to know how to play
If they say a book, convince them not to look,
Never admit to a word that is in print
Unless they claim a royalty come your way
But they caught me on the lulu
( wasn't me)
Saw me banging on the typer
( wasn't me)
I even had an extra copy
( wasn't me)
they even caught me on camera
( wasn't me)
they saw the original copy
( wasn't me)
readthe words that I printed
( wasn't me)
read the words I wrote
( wasn't me)
they stayed until it was over
watch came in and they caught me red-handed
Creeping with the new chapters
Picture this we were both typing
typing on the machine some more
