8O Gentlemen (and one in particular), may I remind you that this is supposed to be a child-friendly zone?

I'm about to have the best Valentines Day ever. :)

I've decided to ignore it this year for these reasons:

- Money (lack of and not wanting to give to hallmark companies profiting off of guilt for not getting your beloved flowers or chocolate or a card or anything just because everyone else is doing it)
- V-Day 2006: the day I got pregnant with my son

Which brings us full circle to point #1. It costs too much money just to say "I love you".

For 18-30 years.

I plan to surprise my daughter with brownie sundaes (with home made brownies - I is a Good Daddy, no?). Boys, it costs very little to show those you love that you love them. You don't have to buy jewelry, flowers, or a card - Brownie Sundaes work.

Every.

Damned.

Time.

I plan on a lovely Valentines myself this year, (trying my hand at optimism)

side note:Brownie Sundaes, say so much more than, "I love you", I am a firm believer in the philosophy, that chocolate is, "the other vitamin"

OK, I'm not going there... I'm getting myself into enough trouble as it is...

But I appreciate the opening you gave me there. :D
