Yeah...jsut got the call from my local bookseller, my preordered copy has arrived. Onl;y thing is my little girl is home sick and I can't just get up and go buy it! Were I not worried about my girl, I'd be dying with anticipation!

I can't stand it.

My kids are home from school today, but tomorrow I will have to do another sweep of the bookstores before work.

My copy of Runes has been shipped to me as of an hour ago. Ah, the anticipation! I'm as impatient over the (from 3 to 7 day) wait ahead of me as I was last October when I heard Runes was coming near the end of this year...Funny how impatience never lessens as the time grows closer, instead it seems to compress into a smaller period of time, increasing the intensity!

Ah, the wonders of pseudo-intellectual philosophisicating!

Hmm...I burned a couple of minutes on this post...what else can I do to occupy my mind for the next few days?

I checked Barnes and Nobles website, and their availability date is October 14th. With all the school and work I have going on, I want to just be able to pick it up at a nearby store, but I'll definitely find time to read it once it's in my grasp~!

Even Amazon is saying that they don't have any in. I'm waiting for Barnes and Noble. I would buy it online anywhere else if I knew where.

I just ordered mine on strandbooks.com. They said they had one copy so I bought it and having them overnight it to me.

That worked for me, Caamora. I ordered mine from Strand on Thursday last week, it was shipped on Friday, and I received it Monday (damn UPS for not delivering on Saturdays!)

Of course, I had it read by Tuesday evening. Now I have a long wait in store for me for Fatal Revenant.

I skipped the first chapter of the prologue (I had probably read it 3-4 times already, trying to stave off my obsession with getting Runes!)

My wife brought the book to me at work Monday evening, and I started reading it then. I continued after I got home, picked it back up the next morning around 4am, took it to work with me, and finished it sometime Tuesday evening, about 24 hours after my wife brought it to me.

I knew I would devour it as soon as I had it. Now I want to read it again!
