LOL!Romeo wrote:No plot changes, I'm sure. Just last minute edits (that have been driving him nuts). Like in the US, the plural of Lego is Legos. But in the UK they must be made from moose parts, because there the plural of Lego is Lego.
yeah, I can totally understand why they'e been driving him nuts

Now here's a funny thing - I've had an ARC for over a week now - and I just can't read it. All sorts of things going through my mind - will Ilike it? will I be able to put it down? what am I going to do for the next 2 and a half years waiting for the next one?
I think I'm treating it more like some kind of object to be worshipped rather than just another book (which of course it isn't) - I think I'll probably continue to bow down before it for another day or so before I plunge in. Wierd or what...,

heh.

If I wasn't really busy with school and work, I'd probably be tempted to read the entire chronicles again before hitting the new book, but as it is, I'd surely dive right in~!Prince of Amber wrote:Now here's a funny thing - I've had an ARC for over a week now - and I just can't read it. By your moniker, I take it you're also into the Chronicles of Amber and Zelazny?

I know - I wanted to read the previous six (7 if you include the little one) books before Runes, but to tell you the truth I know them inside out anyway- For years I never even imagined there would be a 3rd (and final) Chronicles so I was just content to read them over and over again - probably something like 10 times in 20 years.
I am a big fan of RZ, I'm very happy at the moment because I've just completed my Amber collection with all of the Merlin books in First editions (a lot of Christmas and Birthday presents from the wife)
