Heheheh.

I'm just excited there's a new Guitar Hero.
Personally, I would prefer trying to emulate Steve Howe
and have it be all Yes.
But...
I'll take Aerosmith.

MGS4 out soon... I think.

Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars: Kane Wrath

The obvious expansion pack which follows on from C&C3. Looks good, new stuff like units, etc is always good.

Gran Theft Auto IV is looking very very good indeed, some journalists believe it will have as big an impact on gaming as GTAIII did.

Looks like I am going to be dragged in to buying GTA4... I hope it is good.

I am waiting for Dark Sector... it looks great and it got good reviews.

I am also waiting for PlayStation Home. Not really a game and carbon copy of Second Life but it looks like a bit of fun when you're bored.

I've heard a rumor it will not be all Aerosmith songs which might mean I can pick this up. But we'll see.

Apparently EA are already making a movie about Dark Sector, so they must have real faith in it.

I'll be pre-ordering GTA IV tomorrow.

Silent Hill 5 - though I've yet to acquire a PS3...
And Final Fantasy XIII.

How does Guitar Hero: Metallica grab you?

Didn't notice this the first time round, so, rather belatedly: it looks like it's going to be a PC game, but so far nothing is known about the required specs, as far as I'm aware. With Lone Wolf being a relatively underpopulated field of interest, info is quite thin on the ground.

Any details that do come to light are likely to appear first on either Tower of the Sun or Project Aon, or both.

Knights of the Old Republic MMO confirmed

Well I think most of us had guessed this already, but know it's confirmed. I have absolutely zero doubt that Bioware can produce another top notch KOTOR game, but making an MMO is another kettle of fish entirely. I'd hate for it to end up like Star Wars Galaxies, the Star Trek: Enterprise of games, i.e. so many people wanted so hard for it to be good, that some of them almost convinced themselves it didn't suck.

Great, now we can interactivity witness them crawling up inside their own butts.

I still am undecided on the Aerosmith one.

The big open world RPG for Q3 2008 that I was really getting worked up about was Fallout 3, but the more I read about Fable 2, the more psyched I am for it.

Check out these previews:

Fable 2 Preview

Fable 2 Preview: Condoms, Combat and Doemstic Abuse

And check out some of the more unusual and original Xbox Achievements you'll be able to strive for (and those are the actual Achievement subtitles):

The Paragon -15g
Reach 100% Good or Evil.

The Pooch Pamperer -5g
Play fetch with your dog.

The Archaeologist -5g
Dig up something your dog has discovered

The Dog trainer -5g
Teach your dog a trick.

The Persuader -5g
Convince a villager to give you a present

The Spouse -10g
Marry a villager.

The Parent -10g
Have a child.

The Bigamist -10g
Get married a second time, whilst still married to your first spouse.

The Swinger -5g
Take part in a orgy, responsibly

The Menace to Society -5g
Commit an act of public indecency

The Hunter -5g
Kill a sweet, innocent, fluffy bunny rabbit (remember, safety's off!)

The Chicken Kicker -5g
Kick a chicken a respectable distance. As if kicking chickens was remotely respectable.

The Teaser -5g
Get bandits to respond to expressions with fear, anger, mirth and confusion. During combat!

The Property Magnate -10g
Sell a property for twice the price you paid for it.

The Rogue -5g
Steal something undetected from a building while there are people nearby.

The Illustrated Hero -5g
Tattoo every part of your hero's body.

The Party Animal -10g
Get 15 villagers drunk in under three minutes

The Goth -5g
Dye your hair black, wear an outfit made entirely out of black clothes, and wear some black makeup.

Release date is October 24th, I'm gonna be so evil!

I wouldn't put much money on Fable, since Molyneux and his game studio are the kings of hyping a game up ("Fable will be the greatest RPG ever"; "It's bigger than Morrowind") and having it end up average and linear.

Yeah, he's been much more careful about what he's revealed this time around. I think the major difference between Fable and Fable 2 is that, whereas Fable had content cut due to time and budgetary pressures, Fable 2 has been finished since about March and they've just been applying polish ever since. As far as I'm aware, every feature he's mentioned so far is real (even that acorn thing that was supposed to be in Fable) and the list of achievements is final so anything referred to in their is definitely in the game.

They've also been pretty open about the features they've put in or taken out as development has moved along:
The initial design was that if the player's character died, then the character's children would take over as being playable (if they had any). This did not work, however, as play-testers harvested children as dozens of extra lives, prompting Lionhead developers to create another new "death" system.

The second design was that the player's character would not die at all; rather, he or she would fall unconscious instead. The enemies would then injure the character while they were unconscious by beating, kicking or stabbing them, leaving permanent and humiliating scars. It was found that players would rather turn off their console than subject their character to permanent disfigurement.
Some other nifty features displayed at E3 include "Albion Orbs", which are glowing orbs representing where people on your friends list are in their own games of Fable 2. If you're in the same location, you can invite the friend in to your game to co-op. If you choose to disable the 'friendly fire' option during a co-op game, it's possible for your friend to kill your partner or children. This leads to an interesting dynamic: it's possible to get divorced in Fable 2, but you're spouse will take half of everything you own. Molyneux anticipates that many players will opt to have a friend assassinate their spouse instead of getting a costly divorce!

Diablo 3.

That is all.
