Anyway, these days, at least in the US, it's more the exception for someone's parents to be married longer than the child has been alive. I'll be 40 in December. My parents were married for about 15 years, and that ended about 28 years ago.

infelice .. that is something!! and it should be the goal of every married couple in love and truly committed to each other ..my kids cant say the same about 'us' .. cos some of them were born before we were married
