I had an old cat who liked to sleep in the sun on a wooden floor. As his sunny spot moved, he would attempt to scoot over to follow it without having to get up. Getting up would have taken far less effort, but he was the sort of cat who put energy into being lazy.
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?
