Excuse the engineering geek-ery in identifying the sketch...and the OCD that follows
(including forced line breaks so that the "big picture" doesn't force folks to scroll
in order to read my post). :oops:

Suffice to say that Sarge's diagram is a fuel injection system for a car engine.
I didn't respond because I didn't understand the drift...but I treat this as a free-association
thread, so I sometimes don't get thread drift that doesn't have a traceable link to its priors.

Sarge's diagram is vaguely purple, but I am "udderly" unwilling to broach the question
of parallels between cows and fuel injection. Maybe his post isn't related to my
Gelett Burgess...Purple Cow post. It has been months; who knows anymore?

Anyway, if not Ogden Nash or Gelett Burgess, who originated the "little birdie" ditty?

The real question is, what does it taste like? I'm not sure I want to know.

Also, drink-balanced-on-computer makes me nervous. It's just waiting for a cat to come along and give it a nudge.
