Shes a poodle cavalier cross .. cute as a button but very high maintenance  but shes not even 1 year old yet .. though many believe she will maintain her momentum throughout her life .. which is kinda crazy.

After a month here, she was 100 percent calmer.

Looking forward to seeing Fist's response.
This was Heart of God.

Ah, the competitive rpg.

I may linger and see, but that's not my gaming style.

It wouldn't be the same game; my thought is rather than a bunch of gods competing to reach the Heart of God, what we'd have is a group of adventurers wandering into a version of the world set up by that unfinished game and working together to reach it. I'm not 100% sure what the end game would be though.

Ah, Monday. Meh.

Still, only 10 working days and I'm on leave.

Amazingly, X4 is running on my rig, but decided to get a new graphics card anyway. :D

Nice. I wish I'd been in a better financial state the last time I bought a computer. I had my Asus for over 8 years and never had a single problem. This one is... good enough, but I don't see it lasting 8 years, nor do I really want it to. Not bad enough to justify replacing, not good enough to justify upgrading. Just meh. Lesson learned.

👍 yup we all learn similar lessons

I tend to go the cheapest when it is true that quality is almost always the better more efficient option 🙄

It's a tough habit to break. I spent too much money on a new heater today, after going all last winter with no heat. Bought the good one. Which sent me into anxiety mode. What if I lose my job? What if? What if? What if?

Argh. It's nice though.

Thats all that counts Sorus. Second guessing doesnt change decisions already made. Worry isnt all that productive or useful. Though it does have beneficial application in SOME circumstances.

My advice is to boot all that internal dialogue.. as irrelevant and embrace the warmth provided by the new heater 👍

Today I feel physically shattered. I cant remember the last time Ive felt this exhausted. A big property stay, immediately followed by a big day in Canberra has left me knackered.

My daughter is doing the running leg of a triathlon today, so I'll be transporting her to and from the venue, which means I'll be only working half a day (which is good!).

My internal dialogue doesn't have an off switch. I wish it did.

I just want the Christmas music to go away. :hithead: :hithead: :hithead:

Adding to the list I made last year, this year's place of dishonor goes to anything Chipmunkified.

Year end function at work tomorrow. Clients still haven't supplied stuff for their end of year promos etc. If they don't supply by next week, they're going to be disappointed...

When someone told me there would be a DJ twice a week where I work I thought they joking. Nope. A PA system was set up next to the HR area. I really feel sorry for those guys. Christmas and holiday pop music at full blast.
I sometimes drive a truck past HR and I could barely hear the horn.

 roll on January ...
