I think it's time we realize it's quite an amazing thing to be on this planet and to be the advanced creatures that we are. We could've been sponges or worse!

I was going to come in here (mistaking it for the Fist Shaking Thread!! )
I thought I actually went there in error on that Saturday morning I posted the birds, myself...
Even though I knew it was the fist-unclenching thread from the start!
I was really actually grouchy at that time, but happened to think of that...
But it sounds like twasn't an error at all!
and rant about stupid selfish jerks who drink too much and ruin people's lives around them, and that having spent several years watching a person close to me's life be dragged through a circle of hell I am now going to have to go through something very similar with someone even closer to me.... D-:<
:(
But those birds remind me that something greater is going on all around me, all the time.
Yaaay's, super glad to hear they had that effect.

Pretty birds. I don't have anything quite as bright and shiny to share, but on the list of things that can't be unseen:

Just heard about this symbiotic* relationship between mockingbirds and iguanas in the Galapagos.

* Or, at least partly symbiotic. no guarantees it's perfectly idyllic.

skyweir & I were talking last night on chatbane about how much we love the beauty of nature!

Here is my list of top beautiful things in nature I really love:
Forests, especially with a stream going through, splashing over rocks
Sunrises & sunsets
Starry night skies
Horses & birds
Lush, sun-kissed fields, mountains & hills

Also... nowadays sometimes I can spend a whole day inside...
to the point that I -forget- how DIFFERENT outside is.
and then when I go outside... I get surprised by how the light is different and even the SMELL is different.

Close Avatar lol it is samrw3. Thanks for bumping the thread :)

My favorite nature things are cherry blossoms blooming and the beauty of fall leaves. My wife and I always try to go to Michigan during the fall - lovely colors splashing over the rolling hills - ahhhhh.

Awww... Linna thats a beautiful pic .. is that the view from your home? Its a stunning view. Are you a horsey person too?? We have so much in common you and I 🤗 I love learning about you guys so much!! You're all amazing!! What great peeps!

samwise you better not be late for dinner!! Not after Ive gone to all this fuss making your favourite!! LOL :LOLS:

I love mountains .. (cos lets face it I am one .. Skyweir), forrests, plains, rivers, creeks, mangroves, open plains ❤️, beaches - I find it incredibly therapeutic sitting on a beach looking across the ocean in front of me, enjoying the panoramic view from the top of a mountain, I love walking through forrests of all kinds, mostly rain forrest near me now, I love lying down with a mob of kangaroos, there is this awesome beach a drive from here where the wallabies are so tame you can feed them sunflower seeds and they will eat them right out of your hand... man its awesome!!

I post pics all the time on facebook but no clue how to do it outside of the KW Album .. if theres a way I'll learn
