Great news! I'm happy to help any way that I can.Avatar wrote:Right...breaking news. Romeo says SRD is in for a virtual e-fest.
Dates not mooted yet, but he's also asked for a dry run to ensure that he can join via video etc.
If we're going with Zoom, hopefully DLB will be able to co-ordinate that with Romeo and he, but have offered the choice of platforms, be it Zoom, Google or Discord. (Where this news broke first I might add. )
I let Romeo know it would all be better discussed here, so hopefully he will deign to grace us with his presence.

where they get upset about the
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

It's announced in multiple threads all over the Watch...and yes, you're in, I gave you the Watcher role (and Murrin) so you can access all of it, such as it is...
lucimay wrote:HOW COME NOBODY TOLD ME!!
Also, spoke to Romeo again, he's going to drop in here and give everybody the low-down on plans / options to date.

Ok, well you do now, but you should have been able to see the #summonsing channel? (Maybe not, I've fiddled the settings again.)
Anyway, you're in, so check again. Also Murrin, HLT, Syl, Menolly, and somebody whose nick I don't know, so whoever you are, lemme know and I'll give you the requisite role.
Oh, I see Romeo hasn't been by, so in the meanwhile, it looks like SRD will only be available earlyish next year, since he's apparently prioritising something about his new book and busy doing edits or some such nonsense.
Personally, I'm not worried about this, since the more notice we have the better as far as I'm concerned.
Waiting for Romeo to nail down if we can schedule for late Jan or early Feb.

I wasn't invited. Didn't even know about it until two days ago when I saw a post in Announcements. (Not saying it's not my fault I didn't know about it until two days ago, mind you...) I registered and Av joined me up.

Av's first post on the previous page of this thread has the link. That's about all there is to it. Register, and tell Av. Although I suspect he sees all the new Registrations anyway. Not like hundreds are joining up every day, and he misses a bunch of them.

It does Sarge. Sorry, didn't know you needed a walk-through.sgt.null wrote:well at least you are joined up. No one has offered to walk this through for me. This year really sucks.
To Sorus' advice below, I just wanna add that it is probably best if you first go to www.discord.com and create an account, then log in, then accept the invite.
You don't have to add it to your phone if you don't want, you can use it in the browser as well.
Thanks Sorus. So...why aren't you on our discord yet?Sorus wrote:Get Discord:
