Anybody want to bet on how many episodes Charlie has left?
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Evangeline and Dominic, up in a tree ...

Sorry Syl. Anyway ... I think Charlie is here to stay. It seems he has a redemption story to persue.

Lost is starting next Thursday, but it seems that things have been discussed here. :P

Oh well, I'm going to see it sooner or later...

They're saturating Oz TV with the last few episodes of series one (to get everyone's memories refreshed), a "making of" special on Wed night before the second series starts. Me, I'm just gonna be drooling senselessly at Sawyer and imagining three scars under his left eye and two under the right... ;)

Malik23 wrote: My favorite character is starting to be Sawyer. At first, I couldn't stand him. (Yes, I know this is supposed to be our reaction to him.) But his understated self-loathing along with his concurrent charismatic arrogance make him a very likeable character for me. There is a kind of bravery in self-loathing, the kind that lets you withstand torture from a "genu-ine Iraqi," to face your own death with grim indifference or a sardonic smirk. It makes me feel sympathy for him in way similar to SDR's characters. Hell, he could be Nick Succurso.
Now look at my siggy pic. I was RIGHT!

Yay. It was good. But isn't anyone else thinking that everything under the hatch is a bit far-fetched?

As in, the whole series isn't, Spring? There's too much going on, too much interconnectivity between the characters and stuff on the island. I'm beginning to think the plane was 'set up' to crash. They are all part of some grandiose conspiracy theory and/or experiment for biological weaponry...

Desmond has under the hatch (the food, the power, the sunlight)
I'm getting a little worried.

*sigh* why am i sooo addicted to this show.
series 1 recap

a bunch of people crash on an island
they find a hatch
they all have weird(largely unexplained) interconnected backgrounds
they open the hatch.

new series looks to carry on along the same lines. i think its the acting that makes it so addictive.
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

pulling that bullet out of his own shoulder and everything
Of course, I have absolutely no idea what's going on...but that's half the fun of it! :D

Hey yeah, you're right about that EG! Great line, and even more funny when Michael actually splashes him and his raft fell to pieces! LOL!
