Yeah, she's fine, it's just the time off that I'm worried about. And the finances. And the fact that it'll be the first time that I've met people that I knew online since I was an internet addict, which was a pretty dark time for me. Ah, the demons of the past! Grr.

Jem, I can see that you added a post, but I cannot read it as the thread is stuck again...hope that your post was good news.
OK, thread -- time for a kick in the seat!!!!!
Fist, I wonder if we should do as the trivia thread in the Runes forum, and have this one locked and start over?

Glad to know that your wife is doing well Don, as is Jem's mother.
Jem, I can say with full honesty that everyone I have met from the Watch and had enough time with to actually have a long conversation with, has been a delight.

I fully expect that everyone I will meet for the first time at the Retreat Weekend will also be delightful.
This thread seems to get hung up everytime the page changes. Not sure why?

Before I moved to Florida, I lived in a small town next to Poughkeepsie, called Highland. Middletown is about 45 minutes from Highland.
I would have loved to have been able to meet all of you, and it sounds like you are going to have such a lovely time! It is a beautiful area, in the middle of the Catskill Mountains, and I am sure you will all find plenty of things to do, or nothing at all, if that is your pleasure.
Not being able to attend is definitely my loss.
You guys have a great time!

Argh! Why'd you have to move?!? There's not enough of us living here!
So what's the deal, no family or friends you need to visit in, say, August?

I'm more excited about meeting you guys than SRD, although that would be a trip and a half.

I wonder how many times he'd be willing to meet us.
