We were able to get the cheap seats, $50/each. Stage right and slighty behind the stage, but the view was clear and I was really able to see what Stewart Copeland was doing, which thrilled me immensely. I find watching drummers/percussionists from the front boring; it is so hard to see what all they are playing and their movements behind their kits.

I posted the set list over in Vespers, if you want to check it out.

Took a chopper flip over the property to take aerial pics yesterday. :D Awesome fun. I love choppers, and years since the last time I was up.

Will post a pic or two once my brain re-engages.

I'm leaving at silly o'clock tomorrow morning for Heathrow, fly to Munich, train into Austria to a little place called Zell am See where 2 of my best friends are getting married on Tuesday.

Am I excited? OH YES!

Good luck with the trip, Stonemaybe! :)

I have successfully moved into my new apartment. Now I just need to spend a few weeks unpacking. Since I have to work during the day, make that a few months. ;)

This weekend was a loooong weekend in Canada (Victoria Day...also known as the May 2-4 weekend)

Friday, the Wife's SIL came over for a haircut, and brought thre lobsters as payment.

The girls each ahad a bottle of wine, I had most of a case of beer...by about midnight we were hungry again, and made drunken nachos.

Saturday, I replaced one of the toilets in the house with a low flow.
If went pretty good...although the Flange broke when I pulled the old one out, and I had to buy a replacement...the only hitch was the bright Idea I had to stuff a rag down the drain hole, so as not to smell the efluient from the septic tank while working.

Good idea eh?
If you ever decide to try it, take my advice...MAKE SURE that you remember to REMOVE THE RAG before installing the new toilet...because if you don't, you have to take the new one off again...and buy a new wax gasket.
Lis went down to a fishermans's warf, and boaught another couple of Lobsters; We can only uy lobsters this time ofyear, beacsue they are still affordable...$5.99/lb for right off the boat.
By next month, they'll be WAY more.

Sunday, I put an addition on the kids swingset/slide..I added a cargo-net/rope ladder...tahat was fun. Later I put together my new Barbecue; and Lis cooked up a gormet meal of Marrinated chicken and vegtables..and spinach/raspberry/pecan salad (that wasn't BBQ'd).
Had some friends over; didn't drink much though, just a few beers.

Today, I'll be replacing the other toilet, and fixing the clothesline.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

I'm not enjoying the unpacking much myself... I've been avoiding it (and distracting my parents from the fact that I've been avoiding it) by cleaning the house and making dinners.

good for you! I've been unpacking in dribs and drabs. I did laundry tonight, and I'm slowly moving things out of the living room, into my room, which has mostly kept Ali off my back...

I should really buckle down and get the unpacking over with, as I need to start re-packing. Saturday I leave for three weeks in Mexico!

Went and saw Ironman at last, then went to a restaurant that used to have the best Shepherd's Pie. Sadly, they don't anymore. It was now just some kinda soup with a blop of potato in the middle. The lamb was especially tender though. But it was disappointing as I had talked it up to the girlfriend.

Oooooh, Mexico! Buen viaje, Auleliel!

Hmmm...y'know, if Magickmaker *did* pitch in and, y'know, make dinner and stuff...I might be willing to overlook the three crates of books sitting in the living room.... ;) Actually, she's gotta move 'em soon. We're leaving for my mom's on Thursday and will be bringing back a carload of stuff. So Magickmaker's gotta move her stuff to make room for the next load. The fun never stops....

Gracias, aliantha! I'm kind of nervous though, I hate flying.

If you want them gone that badly, move them yourself!

Auleliel, have a great time, and don't be nervous!
