And well done IS, the specific "trigger" was what I was after. :D

Your question. :D

Sticking with the domestic comforts of the Domne...

With what "terrible" fate did Gereden threaten the children of Houseldon?

I was going to guess tickling. However. If I remember correctly it was a little more involved. It included picking them up, turning them around while clasped in his arms, tickling and possibly some noogies.

Nice responses, both, but not quite correct. You do have the context, though.

Don't throw it in until you think about it for a little while.

Maybe I need to dust off a more specific hint? Can I just rely on my dry wit to do the job, or am I still all wet?

I was going to allow Avatar the first crack...but he should have been quicker 8)

Anyways besides tickling, arm twirling and possibly noogies... at the end a unceremonious drop into tub or at least near the tub.

Ok, IS's hint points toward something I was struggling with in my first answer (when I said bath) but I can't see how drying somebody (towel right?) is meant to be a threat...(I kept thinking "something to do with towels...) Was he flicking them with a towel or something? :D

I'll give it to you for that, but not the flicking. It was actually the act of toweling them dry that was the threat. The kids were running around wet and naked, and Gereden was stomp-running after them with the towel. He threatened to "towel" them (using it as a verb). My books are currently packed up, otherwise I would post the quote, but I believe he said he would "towel them within an inch of {their} lives." It was definitely all in fun, though.

Yeah, that sounds pretty spot on actually. Ok, I'll take it.

Ok, let us away from the scenes of domestic bliss in Householden, and return to more fraught events. :D

What did Eremis do to help Orison in the siege, and what was his claimed motivation therefore?

Eremis used imagery to re-supply water due to the tainted water from Elega's efforts.

He claimed the reason was to proof he was trustworthy. Apparently at some points he seemed very dramatic about it because I beleive it was the Castellan? that mentioned noticing effort/sweat something like that.

He was eager at this point to prove trustworthiness because Terisa and Geraden were spreading statements of possible/probable treason by Eremis.

We find out that Eremis actually sneaked out of his efforts to at least talk with Terisa. Now if you had asked what he revealed to Terisa in that conversation...well that I don't remember right now.

Good answer Samrw3.

We also later discovered the sweat was a result of red pepper or something IIRC. :D

Your question. :D

Thanks :) For some reason that scene stuck out to me more on my sort of recent re-read.

I will have a question in a day or so 8)

Ok here we go. When Terisa tries to practice Imagery at the intersection by the castle
1. What image shows is brought against the people in the intersection?

2. Why did Terisa not notice at first where the image was coming from?

3. What image did Terisa replace the original image with?

Before everyone gets all hairy over this, I could drop a few hints. Of course, if you continue to draw a blank, there isn't much more I can do for you...

Hahaha, I'm often not very good with hints. :D Too literal.

Perhaps somebody else can take advantage. :D

Anybody else want to jump in?

Avatar ended up guessing 2 correctly - from above.

So just need 1. what was the image that was brought against people in intersection?

3. What image did Terisa replace the original image with?

Part of it is my hints don't usually look like hints. They can be a bit fuzzy sometimes, so you might not even realize anything is there at all. ;)
