If you want to embed an image in a post, easiest way is to use a free image upload service like this one: https://imgbb.com/
Then just copy the bit of code they give you (usually between [img] tags, and then paste it into the post.

I lived in the country from the age of 10 to 16... foothills of the Ozark mountains.
(I actually "fell in love with" those mountains before I knew we'd ever move there. when we drove through them when I was younger.)

Had rainforest near me - not-close-to-the-tropics-but-pretty-nice - when I lived in Vancouver, Canada.

Its incredibly diverse here where I live. We have bush and scrub and rain Forrests on our door step - were situated on top of the escarpment and thus we get a lot more rainfall up here. The beach is just over the escarpment. There are a lot of interesting micro climates which is reflected in the range of biodiversity from one area to another. It really is quite lovely.
