Of course - I am eager for more reviews insofar as the logo design is concerned and the input of the new-blood is as important as that of everybody else :)

I'm not new here, but I'm not an oldschool poster either. I'm back and like the new look of the board since I saw it last. 8)

Earthblood - Thanks :)

Gareth - It's great that you like the changes. You know that sky called it a poopy colour scheme? ;) :D :D :P

the header changes are looking mighty fine

.. the so dubbed 'poopy' colour scheme however .. which I am sure I never dubbed it .. will probably be better adressed once the header is finally chosen  :P

Welcome Earthblood and good to have you back Gareth!!

this newbie would seem to have the best new blood we could hope for!! Welcome all .. welcome home!!

You may be correct Sky - someone else dubbed it as such :)

And yes - the colour scheme will change once everything else is sorted :)

yes t'was some other that dubbed it thus

.. I just took it up and ran with it!! :P   :P

it seemed way more an astute description than my initial 'ack-worthy' assessment!

Now we have 3 threads on the acky-ness of the colour scheme!! :P .. or is it just 2 .. I lose count after a while?!?

New member here. I had no idea there were any Thomas Covenant sites until I did a search recently after re-reading the books. One site I found which reviewed the books said "they are certainly not for kids". The Covenant series was the first fantasy series I ever read... at the nice young age of 12. That was followed by Michael Moorcock's Elric books... not exactly an easy introduction to fantasy literature. I hadn't even heard of Tolkein at that point. Anyhow, I'm going to go browse through all these messages...

Hello, I am a new member of the board. Have to say I am a fairly recent fan of Stephen R Donaldson having read both chronicles and the gap series within the last year. Very compelling writer and once his works get under your skin it never, ever leaves you. Very original and imaginative writer. In a genre that can lean towards cliched testerone-filled (or femme-fatale) heroism, SRD is a breathe of fresh air.

The concept of a contemporary human being thrust into a surreal yet very real world such as TC is thought-provoking. And the intrinsic intricacies connecting the paradoxical chronicles is incredible. SRD is an absolute master storyteller.

Glad to be joining the board. ;)

AZ transplant from back east. I've been to Albuquerque a couple of times... once for a hot rod drive across what is left of Rt 66. Not sure how much I'll be able to contribute to the forums... but we'll see.
