You can't attach them per se on this version of phpBB, but you can isplay them inside your post.

As MM said, the way to go about it is to upload them to a host like photobucket, then use the [IMG] tags around the url of the hosted image.

The line in your post would look like tis:

Code: Select all

 [img]http://url_of_image[/img]
Then the image would show inside your post. The "Photography Thread With Pictures" in this forum is a good example (and place to post them).

Jersey girl eh? No wonder I like you.

None, that's why I moved to New Mexico years ago...
new mexico, washington state and montana are on the top of my lists to get to before i die.......really would like to get there waaaaaaay before i die. you could say it's on my bucket list. might be an interesting post to see people's imaginary bucket list. imaginary meaning you dont have to be kicking the bucket to have a bucket list, right? getting to know the posters i've read here, i bet there already is a post like that somewhere.

This weekend I watched all 3 LotR movies, and all 6 Star Wars movies, all in order. I did this instead of homework, so tonight I'm really busy.

Now that takes stamina. And serious geekiness. :Hail:

I would have/could have done that in my youth, but not now. However, I have spent the last couple of days watching all the bonus material on the extended edition of Two Towers, and I haven't even gotten to the audio commentaries yet. Not to mention there's still ROTK. (It's my first time around with the extended versions of TT and ROTK.) Holy hobbits, they packed a lot of stuff into the DVD's! I love it. :)

It was a little shorter than it could have been, because I don't have the extended versions, nor did I even look at any of the bonus material. (I did, however, listen to the entirety of the credits so I could hear all of the music. I had not yet done this for each movie, so I discovered some music I hadn't heard before.)

I spent the weekend taking images of comet Lulin, and then viewing it through my 10" Newtonian telescope last night.

Good luck with the writing. I'd love to be able to write, but I'm no writer.

Been to pub tonight, hopefully going to cinema tomorrow afternoon to see what all the fuss is about Slumdog Millionaire, then have some friends coming round for a (hopefully regular) Coen Bros film night. Big Lebowski, and if we have time, my fave The Man Who Wasn't There.

Went to a drag queen show at the local high school. The brother of one of my residents was in it. It was pretty awesome!

I am visiting my parents in the country this weekend, using my telescope on their estate, and reading.

I have to write an essay on the importance of the concept 'Celticness' in the national identities of England, Scotland and Ireland. Bleh.

Been to see Gran Torino tonight. Enjoyed it. Tomorrow is rugby day - 2 Scots, 1 Welsh, 1 Palestinian, 1 Korean, and 1 Irish will be gathering to watch Ireland claim the Grand Slam for the first time since 1948. Except, they won't, they'll buckle under the pressure of expectation like they always do  and here's me with no voice to scream at the screen with.

Should be good fun though :D

here's tip for your essay, Cov Jr, 'celticness' is just a moniker for conquered people differentiating themselves from the 'norm' that is the English. (Going straight to gon an rit for that one)
