I didn't mind the "retread" stuff at all. I considered it an homage and sort of a reboot. It made feel familiar, despite all the newness.
Joe Biden … putting the Dem in dementia since (at least) 2020.

It was too much retread though. Not like hints, like whole plot devices... Even the GF, who is not a SW fan at all, commented on it.

Yeah I thought that too of Kylo and Ren ... not sure I would have liked a re-do of an old plot device .. loved the way it actually panned out tho ... much better resolution to that conundrum.
