Depends on what you were doing when you were 13.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I married my childhood sweetheart when he was 22 and I was 20. We had our first child, Brooke when I was 27 :) Then... they just kept coming... and still are. We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary on Christmas Eve :)
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

Duchess and Furl, you are both an inspiration! 17 and 20 years--that's tremendous! It seems I got a late start. I'll be 36 on Oct 23 and I've only been married five years.
Despite a rather short engagement--met in November, married ala Vegas the following April--I've never regretted a moment spent with my wife.

Awesome Tulizar :)

Marriage is alot of work...but it brings alot of joy...i can't imagine my life without Russ in it.. he's always been there. The love of my life :)

I can't remember when you weren't there
When I didn't care for anyone but you
I swear we've been through everything there is
Can't imagine anything we've missed
Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do

Through the years
You've never let me down
You turned my life around
The sweetest days I've found
I've found with you
Through the years
I've never been afraid
I've loved the life we've made
And I'm so glad I've stayed
Right here with you
Through the years

I can't remember what I used to do
Who I trusted, whom I listened to before
I swear you've taught me everything I know
Can't imagine needing someone so
But through the years it seems to me
I need you more and more

Through the years
Through all the good and bad
I knew how much we had
I've always been so glad
To be with you
Through the years
It's better everyday
You've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay
I'll stay with you
Through the years

Through the years
When everything went wrong
Together we were strong
I know that I belonged
Right here with you
Through the years
I never had a doubt
We'd always work things out
I've learned what love's about
By loving you
Through the years

Through the years
You've never let me down
You've turned my life around
The sweetest days I've found
I've found with you
Through the years
It's better everyday
You've kissed my tears away
As long as it's okay
I'll stay with you
Through the years

One of my favorite Kenny Rogers songs :)

Well, on August 22nd my grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They got married in 1953 at age 19 . . . Had two kids, Phil and Steve. One was my father--Phil. The other was that lousy uncle, heh . . .

I'm not a big Kenny Rogers fan, but I can see why that's one of your favorite songs Furls.

No, the only thing one could blame him for is the fact that he has 11 DUIs and is working at Wal Mart as a stock-boy at the age of 46. Oh, wait, he got fired and doesn’t work anymore. Smart guy.

Hmmm...And I thought you were about to turn two years old and were indicating that you thought it was cool! 28 makes more sense...your vocabularly was way too advanced for an infant! ;)
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. Yes, for a 2 year old my vocabulary is most impressing... :D Thanks for the advance Happy-birthday-well-wish Duchess!

But: should not the REAL birthday on KW be the date of joining KW???

And I still don´t know how to make the emoticons jump and such.

Happy early birthday Ylva! :D :D

About the animations, I finally figured out wht happened. If you use IE, go up to the top of your screen where it says "tools." Go down to "internet options," click "advanced," scroll down to "multimedia," and you can check or uncheck "Play animations."

If you're using another browser, it's probably something similar.

It certainly threw me for a loop recently, when my husband turned on the animations without telling me, and the next time I came here, all the heretofore static little guys were hopping all over the place. I didn't know they could do that! I was very confused for a while.
